+I loved the location and the hospitality of Sarah and Philippe. The place is as described and has most all you'd need in your trip. Would definitely come back if I'm ever back near Tromsø!
−Everything was great. Something I'd recommend is adding a small washing machine, which would be of great help for travelers. But to be honest, everything was there as promised!

“Great location, good price. Unfortunately with mold”
+The location couldn't be better, great hikes quite remote.
−No airing/air filtering inside. Unfortunately there is some black mold in the corners and under the couch. Also some wet patches on the ceiling. There is a dehumidifier running but that does not help when the mold is already there. Since the place is half underground and had very bad air, we aired out the apartment when we arrived. Then the host came over and seemed upset due to high electricity costs of airing out. In our opinion these costs should be calculated into the rent and the reaction of the host was not welcoming.

+The location and the parking option, kitchen has good cooking tools
−The apartment turned out to be a basement unit of a house, with only one small window that doesn’t face a wall but still lets in limited light. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable smell of humidity, especially in the sleeping area. The owner seems aware of this issue and has placed an air purifier there, but it didn’t help much. The bed was also far too soft , and I’m someone who actually likes soft beds, but this one was overly so, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. There was a pump in the bathroom which pumps the sewage water out of the apartment and it was very annoying. The entrance area in front of the apartment is quite dark, and we struggled to find the keyhole , we even had to use our phone flashlights to open the door. The photos of the fjord shown in the listing were a bit misleading, as they don’t reflect the actual view from the apartment. We didn’t meet the owners in person; they left the key inside along with a detailed instruction book. To be honest, the tone of those instructions came across as rather strict and even slightly unfriendly in parts. +The location is really great. We are glad we stayed here and not in the city. The hosts are very friendly. Philip gave us lots of useful advice on where to go and what to see, and also called us when the northern lights started.

−After reading the welcome book I felt like someone was trying to teach me how to behave in a house. Guests must remove the sheets from the bed.

−La literie mériterait d'être remplacée. Le logement a peu de fenêtres, relativement sombre et n'a aucune vue dégagée.
