“Beautiful place but room cleanliness lets it down”
+The lounge area was beautiful. Very comfy and a lovely fireplace with logs for colder days and nights. The dining room was very rustic and lovely. A great selection of home made jams, cereal and juices. The breakfast itself was delicious with plenty of choices. We were asked if everything was OK and if needed anything else, more toast, coffee etc.
−Unfortunately the cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. The carpets looked as if they hadn't been vacuumed. The mirrors were covered in dust so had to be cleaned before we could see in them. The wall heaters were covered in dust. And it wasn't from just a day or two. Overall the rooms and bathrooms were not that clean which let the place down and unfortunately, this would put me off staying there again.

“Short stay at the croft”
+I absolutely loved the room the bed was super comfy and the shower room was so lovely and clean. The dining room for breakfast was excellent and the food was so nice. The owner was such a lovely lady and would highly recommend it.
−The only little downside is that the room was a tad cold but it is an older building so can't really be helped. But overall lovely.

“A fabulous property in a perfect location”
+There was nothing to dislike about this property. A great location just off the High Street being central to restaurants, cafes, shopping and sights. The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable with ample towels provided.

“Disappointing accommodation but great location”
+The owner said because we booked with booking.com and you take extra charges they could not provide us with breakfast. Although we had asked NOT to have ground floor room when we booked we had been given a small ground floor room with windows facing a path and rd with people passing directly by the window!!!! Didn’t feel very private and the window was not locked!!! Room was Cold and felt damp, noisy electric storage heater storage that was clicking constantly

“Great staff, very comfy bed! Breakfast smelled amazing.”
+The staff were excellent, they were so welcoming and friendly and they really helped us with checking when we were staying after a nearby wedding. Bed was really comfy and the room had everything we needed, nice shower and teas coffees too.
−Only thing was the drains in the bathroom had a bit of a bad smell but wasn’t an issue.

−The noise, I could hear the people above me go to the toilet, flush the toilet and then walking around and the alarm going off really early Sunday morning, being on street level I could hear every single person who talked as they walked past

“Comfortable clean stay in a beautiful location”
+The room was clean and the location was excellent we travelled for daughters wedding , the only issue was wifi didnt work in our room but has we had planned all weekend it was not too much of an issue
