“Uncomfortable and not worth the money.”
+The only good thing about this place was the location. It was central to Callander.
−The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was too small and the sink was too small. You couldn't have a wash in it. There were also bars of old soap that had fallen down the side of the sink which weren't removed. The place stunk of curry. The hotel is also not pet friendly despite saying it was on booking.com.

“The Crags was a little "craggy"”
+The bed was really comfortable and the shower was massive. Very modern. The restaurant and food were top class.
−My room door didnt fit into the door frame fully. I had to hold the kettle switch on to boil it as it kept clicking off. I had to also put the blow heater on as the room was cold. Couldn't shut the curtains properly as one of them was hanging off and I had to ask for towels. One of the lamps, the plug front was loose.

“Not enjoyable”
+The location was good. Central to pubs and shops. Other places near by to visit.
−The standard of the hotel was shabby..We,were put in another room ( supposed to have been an upgrade) as the hot water was off in the original room we were to have. The up-grade was a two bedroom room with 3 beds and a sofa bed...Extremely old fashioned with cables hanging from the TV over a,radiator. far to big for two people. We were above the Indian restaurant...Right up until late at night you can smell the aroma..I found this off putting. There were no-one in the hotel overnight.Only a few residents. With no numbers in the room of who to contact in an emergency. The fire alarm went off one morning .Tried calling the number on the key fob but no-one answered..We had to wait outside until the other resident managed to switch the alarm off....I would not stay at this hotel again.
