“Beautiful Location, Beautiful House, Beautiful People”
+The drive up to the property was through a gated road, so initially thought we had gone the wrong way!! If Sat Nav sends you that way, open the gate and keep driving. Idyllic location and the most beautiful property. Exceptionally clean and comfortable and the greeting by Lizzie was lovely. Breakfast was also very good and started our day off well. I cannot recommend this b&b highly enough. 10 STARS!! :-)
−There was nothing that i didn't like, my colleague said he usually gets woken up by having a stand up shower but he instead had an amazing deep comfortable bath which he said made up for not having an actual shower. There was a shower attachment on the bath, so he was being picky!!

“Wonderfully quirky!”
+A perfect place location wise and a lovely room --plus peace and quiet. Lizzie and David are the most lovely hosts and nothing is too much of a problem for them- especially with our 'special' order for breakfast
−This is an age thing really--the bath was a tad difficult to get in and out of.

“Absolutely Fabulous”
+Location was fabulous as was the welcome from David and Lizzie .. made us feel at home straight away 😁 Lizzie showed us the room , all it's facilities including the fridge which really helped ..
−Bed softer than what we are used to , I have a bad back , but it was So comfy and slept so well .. so personal choice I guess

“An Oasis in Northamptonshire!”
+Lovely old home in an extremely quiet location. Saying that not far away from the town of Daventry and other villages in Northamptonshire. Plenty to explore in the local area. Great hosts who couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast. Able to park securely off the road.
−The only drawback was not having an enclosed shower. It was a little difficult to have a shower without a shower curtain. The large bath was in the middle of the bathroom and the shower hosing was attached to the bath taps!

“Magical, peaceful, wonderful!”
+This was an incredible place! It was beautiful. The hosts were amazing, friendly and great to get to know. They took care of us at every step and ask. Their breakfast was so delicious! They provided tea in our room with fresh milk if we needed. It was all done with care.
−The only thing we’d like. A curtain added to the bath tub. An amazing bath tub, but my wife had some trouble getting in and out of it. That’s it!

“A delightful and relaxing short stay, would love to stay again”
+The location was lovely, very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by fields, also interesting history. The house is very unusual and charming with a classic country house feel, welcoming and stylish but definitely a family home with interesting artworks in every space. Our hosts were charming and welcoming and provided a lovely fresh breakfast. Our room was very spacious and beautiful with lovely views and a luxurious bathroom with an enormous bath. All the furnishings were charming and high quality.
−There was nothing to not like. We would have preferred a firmer pillow alongside the very soft luxurious ones and probably should have asked if these are available but were unfortunately only staying one night.

“Was a lovely stay , just how I imagined it and I will definitely visit again”
+The host was so nice and receptive. Lovely breakfast ! Made sure to give tips on what to do around and places to go. Cherry on the cake - gave my friend and I their bicycle to ride round the countryside.
