“OK hotel in good location”
+Good location with sea views, easy walk to both the old village and town with car parking on site. Good extensive breakfast menu.
−Double room was very small and en-suite a small shower room. Guest information read like a rule book. Bar closed at 5pm and lounge area felt bleak.

“We did enjoy our stay at The Clifton. Thank you”
+Breakfast, location, staff, soft large towels, all amazing, very happy
−The room in particular was very tired, stains on the carpet, old furniture. The room cleaner did a good job on a day to day basis, but the room needs a deep clean.

“Stay was good and we made the most of the sightseeing.”
+The breakfast was good and enough choice provided..There was good choice of cereal and options for a cooked breakfast.
−As I have difficulty climbing stairs I was disappointed that our room was on the very top floor and there was no lift. Although porterage was offered on the paperwork there was no-one available. The room was small and a bit dated and therefore did not think that it was value for money in my personal opinion. Also it was stated there was a bar available however we were told it closed at 5pm.!!!! Therefore was not available in the evening..

“Very clean and comfortable”
+The location was very good. Village within walking distance. Lift to sea front only a few minutes walk and bus stop outside was very convenient.
−Check in is 2-5 pm and the bar closes at 5pm there was no one on hand after these hours which we found unusual.
