“On a whole I loved my stay again,Wendy and hubby were very pleasant and friendly”
−The bed was comfy but on an already hot day in August I noticed that the mattress cover, plastic was turned up under the sheet hence perspiration was heightened. Secondly sorry to say on laying down the view of the ceiling has never seen a hoover, was thick with cob webs. Parking was on the same property so I didn't understand a charge. Its a building with no lifts so anyone having problems with stairs it would not suite if ground floor is booked up.

−Not being able to close the bathroom door. The heater on the floor where it had come off the wall. The towels smelt musty and hard . The wall paper hanging off the walls.

−- Room didn't look clean with dirty carpet above all - neglected - last renovation was in the past century, if there even was one - Shower tray drain was a bit clogged, we stand up to the ankles in water - flaky roughcast/plaster/paint everywhere - price for such quality is a joke! It is worth max half of it. - many more...

“The location and Bournemouth were great. I would not stay here again”

−The property is run down and in disrepair. There were holes in the walls with just plaster pasted where the wall was damaged. Electricity sockets were hanging off the wall. The WIFI never worked. When reported the response was not helpful unfortunately.

“The Charlesworth Hotel review”
+The location was great! Close to the wonderful Gio's (10% off bill as staying at the Charlesworth), Indian Ocean restaurant, Nisa, bus stops & down the hill to beach front/shops. Great high view of the beach from across the road & short street. We had a triple room which was spacious enough for the two of us. Towels were replaced once during our 3 night stay. Shower worked great. Plentiful tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk. Biscuits & hot chocolate sachets replenished daily. TV, fan, hairdryer, & toiletries in room. Beds & pillows comfy, slept well. Room was bright with 3 windows. Iron & ironing board outside room on the landing. WiFi worked well. Owners polite & helpful.
−The interior decor & furniture looked tired & dated and in need of some TLC & modernising. Bathroom was very small & the door wouldn't close properly so we had to wedge a book underneath which did the trick.
