+The staff are extremely nice and kind
−No A/C though the fan was nice but if it were a bit hotter day the place would be uncomfortable. There was some confusion with the cleaning as well and they missed my room when I was told they will clean it once I’ve left so had to stay without new sheets then change then myself. They did give them to me when i returned home at 8 pm so that was nice.

“Lovely place and staff, toilet let it down.”
+Breakfast was very good, staff excellant, room clean with a selection of hot drinks.
−Only thing that let it down was the toilet and the fact you could see and be seen by the other person, not private at all and if i'd been with a friend or sibling it would of been quite embarrassing, need to black the door out.

“Central, trendy, great staff, good price, everything you could wish for.”
+Just had a great two nights at The Buxton in East London. We've stayed around that area (Liverpool Street/Spitalfields/Whitechapel) a few times now and the hotel was in a great spot at the base of Brick Lane. We got there early and it was quite, unassuming, stripped back - first impressions were 'OK!'. But over the course of the weekends, with the excellent staff (cheers Jennifer and Rebecca, Jacob and the bartender from Edinburgh), excellent and fresh breakfast, lovely rooms with everything you could need and excellent bar, it quickly grew on us and we could appreciate all the touches. For value for money with everything you need in a central London hotel, I don't think we've stayed in better. Cheers!
−For us, nothing could be dramatically improved - very happy.

“Great value, location and classic old inn updated beautifully”
+A tasteful revamp of the classic "inn above a pub" type of rooms, they have kept what I missed about the old ones and updated only the right details to make the stay more comfortable. Really sweet and welcoming staff as well!
−Honestly nothing; it was great. I would make sure to request a lower floor if you struggle with mobility; I was on the top floor which is a walk up, for me it was perfect as I had a romantic view of the Brick Lane rooftops.

“A great weekend in London staying at The Buxton.”
+Very friendly staff, and we were able to leave our cases before check in and after checking out. A very nice continental breakfast. A great location for exploring Spitalfields market and Brick Lane.

−De douchekop was kapot en bleef niet hangen. De kamer was erg warm- maar het was ook wel warm weer.
