“Anniversary stay in Alnwick”
+The location to the town centre and the cleanliness of the whole building .
−There was a humming sound coming from either outside or in the building itself

“Enjoyable”
+Nice and clean room and well apointed.
−The radiators are on a timer so you have no control over when they come and off although a heater was provided.

“Lovely location, excellent quality stay…”
+To be honest, we didn’t stay at the original place… The owners had to move us to an alternate apartment called the Tate… Unfortunately because of some storm damage, the Bondgate was unavailable…. However the Tate was wonderful and our host Charlotte was brilliant and most helpful…
−It was absolutely splendid

“Wonderful”
+Room was clean and was a 5 minute walk from our destination for an evening meal. Good, powerful shower and the room had everything we needed.
−Not a hugely spacious room but fine for our one night stay

“Centrally located and great quality room, perfect for exploring Alnwick.”
+Bondgate Boutique's convenient self check-in system saved my partner and I when we were in a bind. The accommodation that we had booked for those two nights had become unresponsive and didn't supply any check-in information, so we were looking for somewhere last minute to stay at around 5pm. We drove to Alnwick and everywhere was booked up except for the final room here - and it was perfect! We were in within 10 minutes of booking. The room was clean and well stocked with coffees, teas, and toilet paper. We stayed in one of the ground floor front rooms, but it was very well sound-insulated because we didn't get any noise from the road. The location was fantastic - a two minute walk into Alnwick proper, around the corner from the castle and gardens, and a short walk uphill to Barter Books and Lidl. Most importantly, the one employee we ran into was very kind and the owners were extremely responsive on Booking. This was particularly helpful when we were booking last minute and needed immediate reassurance that we had somewhere to stay.
−Our only (small) complaint would be the quite noisy heater when you shower and flush the toilet. I wasn't affected by other people's showers, but I was conscious when I was showering later in the evening or earlier in the morning that I might be disturbing them. A small price to pay for an otherwise 10/10 stay.

“Not good value for the money spent.”
+Great location in Alnwick. Next door to The Plough, which is under new management and offers wonderful dinners!
−Very lumpy and horribly uncomfortable beds. Terribly uncomfortable flat pillows. Small rooms. Late check-in and early check-out.

+The location
−Unfortunately, the room was very cold, even with the radiator off and on.
