“Staff were extremely accommodating.”
+Super friendly. Historic building Staff were really great. There was a noisy group of 13 guys on the same floor as me, obviously was not going to get any sleep. Duty manager kindly contacted the Brown Pub across the road and transferred me for a quiet nights sleep!! Thanks a million both to the Blue pub and Brown pup!!!!

“Recommend "FREE" boxes in the fridge and cupboard -we had food -strengthens DONT TOUCH OTHERS FOOD.”
−pOINT OUT check-in is at the bar and give hours (someone else didnt know that and were wandering around even getting inside the hotel section! Also point out carpark is at back og Blue Pub -saves moving the car again. Also, point out access to caroark is on ??? Street (arrival-by-driving access is a bit strange)

“Clean, tidy, and convenient to the mountain.”
+Location is great in relation to Mt Hutt ski field, there are a couple of convenience stores nearby and some cheap dinner options available in the town.
−The sound from the other guests having a party in the communal living space, my room was opposite the kitchen area, very difficult to get any sleep.

“Good value”
+Great location, well priced and easy to book and deal with the communication. Small and old rooms but that is what I knew when booking. Would stay again. Thanks.
−Noisy people late at night on weekend.

“Met my expectations”
+Great value for money. Good location in the central city and being nearby Hutt.
−Obviously when you stay over a pub you expect noise. I wasn’t quite expecting people screaming outside the room at 1:00am.

“Affordable, clean and the most convenenient spot in Methven.”
+I like the clean facilities and rooms, the shared showers and bathrooms are clean and don’t get that busy. The rooms have a place to hang up your clothes which is great. It’s right in the town centre with the supermarkets and restaurants just a short walk away. The Methven I hub is right next door which is one of the pick up locations for the Methven Ski bus. Checking in and checking out was very easy.
−The airfryer doesnt work properly. There is a bit of noise at night but that is totally understandable because it is on top of a pub. I just used earplugs.
