“Non understanding”

−We used the shower and lay on the bed in the room for about 2 hours had to go home for a family emergency Ask for a refund or partial refund but refused as we lay on the bed and used the bathroom

“Cute, adorable b&b”
+The cuteness Never seen a hotel like it Great host, he was a gentleman Bedding was nice and clean and bed was very comfortable
−Unfortunately although we had a great time. The taps weren’t working very well in the bathroom. (Room 10) But this did not affect our stay

“Comfortable stay but no breakfast”
+Decent sized car park at rear, the room was nice and comfortable and security was good with the double door entrance. Bed was comfortable and the decor was nice
−For the price we paid for the one night stay, would have been nice to be offered a breakfast and have a better tea and coffee facility. The information book in the room is outdated, states they offer breakfast and check out 10:30, in reality they don’t offer that and check out at 10. No tea bags in the room. Id stay again but price needs dropping to reflect lack of amenities and offerings

“Great stay, perfect for trafford centre shopping day”
+nice place, very old fashioned, room was comfy and clean, only stayed for 1 night so didn’t look into the breakfast option available, would recommend for trafford centre shopping day to stay over.
−parking isn’t the best, but tight to get round the back and park the car, shower was a bit small in the bathroom for a 6ft male.

+Direct train from the airport to Eccles. Quiet hotel and comfortable bed. Close to trams and bus stop outside too. Great value.

“A Real Gem”
+Friendly staff and warm welcome. Beautiful spacious light bedroom (room 10 on the top floor), more like a suite than a regular double which was a lovely surprise. I enjoyed having a sofa & coffee table to watch TV from. There was also a separate dressing table/desk as well as.a little.tea/coffee area. Lots of storage space.too. The hotel was nice & quiet at night. Good location for public transport links -right by a bus stop and only 10 min walk from Eccles train station.(or a car park for.drivers). The brochure supplied suggested a 7 min walk into Monton village which has lots of nice cafes & bars. I stopped at Oats & Honey cafe which was friendly & had a good stmosphere. I would definitely stay at The Ascott Hotel again and would.like to spend more time in Monton and doing some walks from there.
−I couldnt find a plug for the bath so I could only use the shower, which was a bit disappointing. The plug for the sink wasn't attached to the chain so it got stuck and took a lot of effort to remove. Couple of cobwebs in the ensuite and some stains on the bedding but generally the room was nice & clean and I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Beautiful property for a good price, what more could you ask for?”
+It’s a beautiful, well decorated, clean and cozy hotel. I was very impressed by the bedding, had a superb couple nights sleep. David is lovely, and happily answered any of my questions. Parking is a bonus too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and would stay again!
−Unfortunately no hot breakfasts anymore here, but not a problem for me. Just know in advance and bring your own bits to have with your coffee or tea in the morning! Definitely didn’t bring the rating of the hotel down for me. Would 100% recommend.
