“perfect”
+We had a great time, everything was clean, they checked us in early with no extra charges, they cleaned our room daily and they were really nice and kept our bags after check out
−Nothing, even the position that isnt central is very well connecter with a bus stop right in front of the property and the busses pass every 5/10 min

+Wonderful and very gentle hosts. Rooms are big with plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable

+Easy to get into Edinburgh Central
−Our room was at the top of the house up some very steep stairs. This was OK for us but would be difficult for older people of those with mobility issues. There are more accessible rooms available so check availability when booking.

+Lovely accommodation run by a family who were very welcoming and provided helpful recommendations for sightseeing. Room was comfortable and excellent location with a bus stop into the central city directly across the road which made it extremely easy to get to/from central Edinburgh. Would definitely stay again!

+I loved that there was a bus stop right in front of the house, it made it easy for travel. The staff were really friendly and accommodated us a little earlier ! There was a bad storm coming through, so this really helped !
−Everything was clean , but there stains on the pillows and the carpet. The bed was really hard and the pillows hard and heavy. If that’s what you prefer then it’s great , but I like soft beds ☹️

“Beautiful room along bus route”
+It is absolutely beautiful! The bus stop is literally right out front, which was amazingly convenient. The owner was so kind and helpful, too. Very lovely place to stay.

“Great place to stay in Edinburgh”
+Very charming house. Very clean and comfortable bed. Friendly host. The bus stop is in front of the house, very convenient to go to the center of the city and historical sites. There is a shopping center nearby with many stores and coffee shops.
−Small room for two people. Not enough space to put the luggages or clothes. Suggestion to replace carpet for laminated floors.

+We had a wonderful stay at Alba House in Edinburgh! The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, neat, clean, and well-maintained. The host was excellent and very helpful. The location was convenient, with great public transport connections to the city centre and a supermarket within walking distance. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

+I had a great time staying at Alba House: the room was spacious and comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The owner was lovely and very helpful, she gave some tips about the city and the transport. Very good location, only about a 15-minutes bus ride from the center, and the bus stop is right in front of the house. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Edinburgh.
−This is not the fault of the host or the accomodation, but as the house is right next to the road, the traffic outside can get noisy at night, so just come prepared with earplugs or a brown-noise playlist.
