“Pretty average”

+I have always enjoyed staying at the Tennyson in the past. It appears to now be under new management. I like the distance to the town and having access to a kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. The fridges in the rooms are a nice touch.
−The room appeared clean but there was a dirty cup left on the side when I entered. The shower desperately needs regrouting and appeared dirty. The furniture is mostly worse for wear, the chair was ripped, the handle was missing from the wardrobe, and the handle for the bottom draw fell off in my hand. The traffic was extremely loud on the night I stayed, disrupting my sleep. The walls were fairly grubby and really could have done with a clean. The hand wash was extremely watery and unpleasant to use. The sanitary bag holder was empty. There were instructions for the old WiFi internet which was no longer in use.

“It feels you are close to nature.”
+All was given to us, fast response on email.everything we needed was there. Love evening lights, magical. I did like little touches like the projector , coloured lights inside the dome, log fire and marshmallows with coffee before bed. Had a good long sleep, comfy bed and clean beddings..Also quick response to my email. Relaxing evening. Not to mention hot tub was there a hen you need it. Definitely will stay there again.must not forget Alexa was a great company ready to play music when you need it. Thank you very much.

+Nothing.Couldn't gain access.no staff no help.told wrong room number.key safe didn't work.eventually got in using another tenants number(after lots of times trying.).he was also told wrong room number.room-no hot water after leaving it running for ages.problem-when we went out would we be able to get back in!! Rubbish.didnt stay.went to another hotel.

−Room 1. There were no clothes hangers. There was no plug for the bathroom sink. Bathroom tap was very noisy. It's a shame you do not provide breakfast anymore!
