“Simple and satisfied”
+Very pleased with our stay. I stayed here for one night with some friends as we were in Dublin for the marathon. A very convenient location, absolutely seamless check in and overall very satisfied with the room and facilities within it. Perfect if you’re just looking for simple accommodation in a good location

“Never coming back again”
+Location was the only good thing about this property.
−Staff extremely unhelpful for the week leading up to my stay I requested early check in and never received an answer on whether I got it or not, rang and text phone number multiple times the days leading up to my stay and not even so much as a text back, shower drenched entire bathroom (which in my case was basically the entire room). Socket above bed hanging off the wall risk of electrocution, no radiator or any form of heating in the room it was freezing

“Was good location but needs an upgrade.”
+It was very central for what we needed.
−The dirty carpets. The broken blinds that didn’t fit the windows properly. The beds were really uncomfortable. Shower door didn’t have a handle to open from inside and the door was wonky. Shower tiles were all cracked. Tv was hanging practically off the wall. The windows need replaced, room was extremely noisy with traffic and people talking outside.

“No toilet door, no privacy, refund offered but not actioned. Property has ghosted us...”
−The room was small (as we expected) but there was no toilet door, so there was no privacy at all. In a bigger room it would have been less of an issue but in a room this size it was unacceptable. I messaged the property and got no reply until after we had left the next day. The Property explained the door had been damaged and had to be removed but did agree that it was not what we expected, that it should have been explained to us beforehand and as a result they offered a partial refund. But nearly three weeks later no refund has been received me despite chasing it up. From our perspective the property has ghosted us.. I've just looked back over the reviews and I can see the first reference to a toilet door being missing in a pod room was in March 2025 followed by at least half a dozen more reviews commenting on it being missing. 18 months with no door, plenty of people complaining about it and the hotel sticking their fingers in their ears and going "laa laa laa, we're not listening"

“Great tiny bed+bathroom for short stays at a really low cost”
+Location is great, and it's basically a bunk and a bathroom, that's all the space is. If you need a quick overnight for 1-2 or a few days for 1, perfect! If you're looking for a place to WfH during the rain or doing an extended stay with a 2nd person, might not be your thing. Access is easy, host was good communicator, and area is top notch, you're across the river from the main area and thus in the quiet part of the Temple Bar area.
−The bed for 2 was a stretch as it's in an alcove next to the windows, so you have to climb over the other person if you're on the window side. For 1, it'd be fine, for 2, make sure you like the person :) Window was a little drafty (Oct for us so a little cold air).
