“The Teller house was a prefect addition to our trip!”
+A trip back in time with all of the luxuries of the present.
−Stairs were a little tough with our suitcases - but very minor and expected given the trip back in time.

+Very, very clean. Beds were clean and covers were comfy. Heat took awhile but did finally get warm.
−TWENTY SEVEN stairs up at a very high altitude! Beds came up to my waist and I'm 5 feet tall! Short but not abnormally short. Had to climb up on pillows then pull up the rest of the way everytime. No one on duty anytime during our whole stay. Keys were in the room. No TV but that was okay. We were tired especially after climbing 27 stairs! Pillows were all very hard. Not some soft and some hard like most hotels these days; just all very hard. We wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend unless you are very fit!

“The hotel was sufficient for our purpose.”
+Nostalgic, location.
−There was a PLANNED power outage that no one mentioned until we arrived. A quick notice would have been the right course of action, not waiting for us to arrive and put a piece of paper on the desk. The CO2 alarms were going off, fire alarms and no one person in the hotel slept. Medical equipment (CPAP) needs electricity to operate so it was a very tough night. However the property made it right and refunded the night which was great, but going into the back country and driving on the edge of cliffs is tough, especially 30 minutes of sleep. I do appreciate the refund. If not for the power outage everything would have been just fine.

“Historic and in very good shape. Just a great place to stay!”
+Old, historical building and rooms in a very good shape. The athmosphere was very great and the bed was very comfortable! We really enjoyed staying here. The reception was not opened when we arrived but there was a sign with our name at our room and so it was just easy and uncomplicated. At night we went out for a cigarette and saw a bear just crossing the street! :-)

“Charming little stay right in main road in Silverton - would stay again”
+Neat little place. Clean. Had room 7 with 2 beds and a private bathroom. Enjoyed the decor of the place and little room with coffee, tea, shared fridge, etc.
−Things to know - 2 sets of stairs to get up to rooms - no elevator - so be able to carry your luggage! I saw no staff around entirety of 2 day trip. Room door is open on arrival with name posted outside and key in room for you (seems safe little town but very different than other experiences).

+Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the heart of Silverton! The furnishings and linens were so thoughtfully chosen. We loved it so much that we rearranged our itinerary so we could stay an extra night!

“Excellent séjour dans cet ancien Hôpital”
+L’établissement est vraiment magnifique. Autant de l’extérieur que en intérieur. La gérante est d’une grande sympathie malgré qu’on ne parle pas spécialement anglais. On a doré cet hôtel et on y reviendra sans aucune hésitation.
