“A dream come true”
+Absolutely beautiful Ryokan! I booked a room with a private open air bath and a kaiseki dinner along the river. Everything was absolutely exquisite! The staff is lovely, the food is delicious, and the location is serene.

“A highlight in our Japanese trip. Comfortable, attractive & attentive. And a delicious dinner too.”
+We loved our 2 night stay at Tatsuta Ryokan. Our room was extremely generously sized and we had our own private hot bath. The location on the river is great with a very nice dining area next to the river. The staff were friendly. Nice touches like a clothes horse to hang out a few items we washed.
−That we didn’t stay longer.

“Beautiful onsen stay”
+Our room was absolutely stunning. Peaceful and serene with our private onsen overlooking the river. The beds were comfortable and the hotel provided PJs and a good selection of toiletries. The staff were amazing from start to finish - always so helpful and friendly. We loved the private onsens although didn't use these a lot as we had the onsen in our room. Breakfast was amazing, and dinner was unforgettable - multi course kaiseki dinners that were beautiful and delicious - the only downside is that they were a lot of food and we couldn't finish it all. They were able to change meat dishes to fish for me for all meals for an extra charge. It was lovely having meals by the river. They have an outdoor hammock Cafe which we used on 1 day and loved - but bring cash if you are going here. It's quite a long journey from Tokyo but we were able to use public transport all the way. There are walking routes from right outside the accommodation to explore the beautiful surrounding peninsula - we walked to Joren falls. It was a really special stay for our honeymoon and would highly recommend it.

+Our room was easy to access and the size of the room was good. We also had breakfast and dinner here and both were delicious (menu changed everyday). We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect as a get away trip to the countryside.
−A lot of bugs near the river but they tried their best to get ride of them by the restaurant. Also the onsens felt a little old and could use better cleaning.

“Nezapomenutelný zážitek”
+Hotel skvěle situován na břehu horské říčky. Super milý a ochotný personál. Důraz na autentické onsenové oblečení. Velmi bohatá a chutná snídaně. Skvělé onsenové lázně.
−Nemám co bych vytkl. Snad jen zápach z kuchyně ve spodním patře hotelu na chodbě. Ale v pokojích nic cítit nebylo.
