+Clean, safe, reasonably located if you have a car. Good on-site parking and our double/en-suite room was private. The chocolate pudding each evening was a welcome touch.
−It’s occupied by slovenly, monosyllabic uncommunicative youth, but it’s a backpackers, so it comes with the territory - grin.

+Comfortable bed, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff
−A bit cold in the unheated dorm in mid winter - okay for sleeping, very cosy in bed, but not warm enough for a quiet place to rest earlier in the evening

+Good room, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, good kitchen and lounge, lovely garden, clean
−Both a shower and a toilet were out of order so only one of each available on ground floor. Toilet paper ran out one evening which was inconvenient.

+Great backpackers hostel. Love that the owners care about bringing travelers together. Location was peaceful and the kitchen was well-stocked. There was a car park if you’re arriving by car.
−It’s an old-fashioned backpackers hostel, so expect thin walls and the occasional noisy guest.
