“Memorable experience!”
+This place is ideal for nature lovers, because it's located in the middle of the jungle, you can see all kinds of birds, squirrels, trees, plants, and much more. Enjoy the sounds of the forest in aw. Loreena was a great host, she helped me get around and organize some of the transport. You'll feel part of the family right away, they are dedicated hosts. Also, if you're doubting whether to visit this area or not, it's really nice, not crowded, with long and beautiful beaches. Tampat do Aman is about 20-30 minutes away from the main beach by walk, which is very convenient.
−Given that you're in the forest there are plenty of insects, but the beds are protected by a mosquito net, so you should be fine!

+11 out of 10. Perfect location with tranquility and the style, layout and vibe is exactly how it should be. The owners will make your stay incredibly comfortable and take you everywhere you want and recommend places to visit. They also assisted me with onward travel throughout Borneo. Kind, knowledgeable and unique. I can’t praise it enough.

+First of all: if you don't have your own transport: just contact Howard, the owner. He will be able to arrange a ride for you to get to Tampat do Aman (and back)! We had a rental car, but there we a couple of other travellers staying here, who got there with transport arranged by the owner. We really enjoyed our stay here. We rented a villa/bungalow and got a really warm welkom when we arrived. The 2 longhouses, huts and bungalows are located within a big plot of (well maintained) jungle. The accommodations are simple, but clean and comfortable. Good bed, mosquito net (no holes!), kettle and everything is clean. It's obvious that a lot of love (and labour) is put in to set up and maintain the accommodation, small museum that is on the premises and the private jungle/nature reserve across the street. It's about 5 minutes from the beach and approximately 10 to 15 min. to the tip of Borneo. Howard was very helpfull in providing information about the area. We liked it so much that we extended our stay. I guess that says enough 😊 Thanks for the lovely stay and chats in the morning Howard! Kind regards, Judith and Liam

+Lovely and peaceful place where we felt at home. Howard is a great host, he'll go the extra mile to make you discover the beauty of this corner of Borneo and have the best possible experience travelling around. You'll be surrounded by nature and always enjoy a chat with Howard and others over breakfast. The local museum that Howard and his family set up inside the property is an example of how much they care about the area, its culture and its traditions. We stayed in the rooms in the big hut with shared toilets and showers, which were fine for us. The showers have cold water, but it wasn't an issue considering that it's warm all day round. We haven't seen the ensuite family chalets, if you are after more comfort you can opt for those.

+This is a perfect place if you enjoy being off the beaten track. The nature and the beaches are stunning and Tampat do Aman is in the middle of it. In the resort itself you can enjoy the sounds of nature and see a lot of animals around. You don't have to worry about getting around or food. The host is offering to take you to the beaches back and forth, he gives you lots of advices what to do and where to go. The beach area offers plenty of food options. The family is really welcoming and made my stay very pleasant, especially as a solo traveller.
