+I chose the Sultans room for my 5 night stay. Having the window and desk was important for the number of days. The cave portion was so unique and cozy while the window area with a higher ceiling prevented any claustrophobia ( something that I had considered before my stay.) The included breakfasts were generous and leisurely and Omar is a kind and thoughtful host. Takaev Cave House is wonderfully situated for viewing the morning balloon launch from several vantage points. My room made viewing from the room possible although I preferred the patio. Outside my room as a cozy, comfortable and more private location. Meeting other guests was a highlight of my trip. We shared a breakfast table although there are many private options should one prefer to remain only with your party . Omar was very helpful monitoring prices and securing the best option for balloon rides and the Sufi experience. You can absolutely trust his motivation to do what is best for you. And he speaks 8 languages, I believe so communication is very easy.
−Breakfasts began after 8 AM and being able to eat while watching the balloons would have been a good choice. Perhaps Omar would have adjusted the schedule had I asked but I chose to go with the relaxed pace instead. If it matters to you, make the request and I'm sure you will be accommodated. The nature of a stone dwelling located so near to the road means that while very quiet from most noise, there is a rumble when cars pass on the road. It was not disruptive to my rest but was a point of curiosity until I connected the sound and the source.

“Location is good but otherwise it is a no go the next time.”
+Breakfast was OK.
−The staff in charge didn't want to help to bring both of our luggages from the deep basement cave room to the top floor before our departure. He only helped with one and I had to lug the other through a narrow stone staircase to the top floor. It took me more than 15 minutes and a lot of sweating. The guy did not have his heart in it. Our location was 4 floors down from the top.

“Passable stay, property in disrepair, verify comfort with location”
+The host is very helpful. The rooms are spacious and the terrace is perfect for seeing the rising balloons.
−The property is in a state of neglect. Sofa covers in common areas are torn, housekeeping items are scattered around the passages, broken items (toilet roll holder) that serve no purpose are still placed in rooms, some furniture is broken, and the bathroom drain was dirty when we arrived (we were just too tired to say anything other than clean up ourselves). At some point in the past this property was likely great - it’s spacious and well appointed. However the lack of care and attention shows and makes it for a very rundown experience. Also the location isn’t in town - it’s on a connecting road. Nothing wrong with that but guests should make sure that’s where they want to be.

“Good property in a great location”
+Great location, in the Uchisar city center with a fantastic view of sunrise balloons. The staff, Omar, is very helpful - he helped us book the balloon ride for a reasonable cost. He apparently speaks 17 languages and we conversed in our native language throughout our stay. We took the hammam cabe suite and it was very nice.
−The room smelled of smoke when we entered despite it being a non smoking room. Cleanliness can be improved to make it top notch.

+Absolutely splendid , and even better than expected. The Takaev Cave Hotel is simply splendid. The rooms look exactly like they do in the photos, but somehow the overall experience is even better than you expect. The breakfast is truly regal , generous, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. Omar, the administrator, is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you might need, from recommendations to organizing activities and transfers. And there’s just a really lovely vibe throughout the place: cozy, relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely special. And then there’s Tancer. 🐶 The tiny hotel dog who casually steals your heart and makes you seriously consider moving in permanently. Would absolutely stay here again. ❤️

+Unser Aufenthalt in Kappadokien war einfach wunderschön, und dieses Hotel war definitiv einer der Höhepunkte unserer Reise! 😍 Die Aussicht vom Hotel ist atemberaubend. Den Tag mit so einem herrlichen Ausblick zu beginnen, ist einfach unbezahlbar. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und auch die gesamte Anlage war ausgesprochen gepflegt. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besonders begeistert waren wir auch von der Organisation der Ballonfahrten und anderer Aktivitäten. Das Hotel hat uns dabei geholfen, alles zu wirklich günstigen und fairen Preisen zu organisieren. Im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Anbietern waren die Preise deutlich attraktiver. Dabei war alles absolut zuverlässig, transparent und vertrauenswürdig. Man kann sich wirklich darauf verlassen und muss sich keine Sorgen machen, zu viel Geld auszugeben. Insgesamt waren wir mit allem rundum zufrieden: die Lage, die fantastische Aussicht, die Sauberkeit, der freundliche Service und das hervorragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
