+The host was really friendly and forthcoming. She told me where to go for hikes and gave me insight on how to get to the sunrise view on Alishan! The location is a little remote but there is a bus going up to the Alishan Recreational Area just 5 minutes away so it was perfect for me even without a car.

“A great place to stay, especially if you have your own transport”
+We stayed here just for one night before going into the Alishan proper and to the Fenqihu afterwards - that was my fault making arrangements last minute with many places booked out and with limited availability making a more logical itinerary challenging. Although this involved fair a bit of back tracking and catching the same buses backwards and forwards (also because of the typhoon when all the trains were suspended for two days and sadly we missed out on our prebooked train rides from Alishan to Fenqihu and from Fenqihu to Chiayi), in the end it worked out beautifully for us. We arrived to Suwana in the afternoon, coming on a bus from the Sun Moon Lake, and had just enough time to do the hike across various nearby trails (The Mist Trail, Tea Trail, Cloud Trail, Sakura Trail etc.). We also happened to stumble across a local place serving dinner to some guests where we were allowed to also have our most delicious dinner and as a bonus got a lift back in the dark to Suwana - this was fantastic. The Suwana owner / staff were very helpful and our room was OK, even though we found the bed to be quite hard to sleep on. We loved the deck area and the mountain view.
−I didn't realise that this place was right on the main road with a lot of traffic and the traffic noise for me spoiled a bit the enjoyment of otherwise beautiful view from the deck area. I was also worried about being able to catch a bus to the Alishan Forest Area first thing in the morning but we were lucky that although the bus was full, the bus driver stopped for us and let us get on and sit on the bus steps - I was so happy about that, given that people in Taiwan seem to love their rules about everything and I was worried that they would not let us get on with no seats. I don't think they would let many other people get on though so it could be risky and as the buses are not very frequent and we wanted to have an early start, next time I would probably not risk it staying here with no transport of my own. Luckily, we were able to have a full day (plus part of the next day) in the Alishan Forest area which worked really well, as we were able to do everything I wanted to do there (including the Mianyue walk which would be difficult to do in a limited time in the afternoon on our arrival or only in the morning the next day. “Un piccolo paradiso di quiete a pochi minuti dal centro”
+La struttura è posizionata a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro del villaggio vicino e per questo motivo, offre molta tranquillità. C'è la possibilità di mangiare all'aperto, con una terrazza coperta che gode di una buona vista sulle montagne e sulla vallata. Per chi arriva in auto c'è la possibilità di parcheggiare gratuitamente in loco, senza costi aggiuntivi. Per raggiungere le stanze poi, si sale una rampa di scale e si entra in una sala comune dove ci sono tutte le camere. La sala comune è rifornita di un frigo, boiler per l'acqua calda e filtrata e un divano con tavolino ad uso di tutti gli ospiti. Le stanze sono spaziose e con un arredamento minmal ma curato e pulito. Non è presente il climatizzatore ma anche in agosto non ne abbiamo sentito l'esigenza, solamente un comodissimo ed efficientissimo deumidificatore, ottimo per togliere l'umidità ed asciugare i vestiti se fate il bucato. Personale gentilissimo e super disponibile
−Come consiglio per l'host, suggerirei di aggiungere qualche gancio all'interno della stanza per poter appendere le cose o comunque qualche punto di appoggio in più. Anche il dispenser dei prodotti in bagno era piuttosto scomodo da ultizzare, e i prodotti potevano essere migliori. Detto ciò, sono suggerimenti, il soggiorno è stato più che positivo! Come spunto per il futuro, valuterei anche il servizio di lavanderia, per permettere agli ospiti di lavare gli indumenti sporchi. È un servizio che nessuno offre (o comunque in pochi) e potrebbe essere un plus rispetto agli hotel concorrenti

+很熱情的老闆娘，房間整理得很乾淨，也很詳細地為我們介紹附近可以走走的步道、地理環境。 騎車5分鐘的距離就有兩家超商可供覓食，算是很方便的地理位置。
−住宿的房間有獨立衛浴，但是沒有電視，要到外頭公共空間才有。
