+The balcony and beach front although access was difficult with high mounds of sand to walk through. Breakfast was very good and 2 staff there were friendly.
−I booked a spacious ocean front King room and was given a room to blue stars taking up half the room with an empty loft upstairs. Very unpleasant view from the bed. Blond front desk staff not helpful, "that's all we have left". After a canceled 2 week Hatteras vacation due to the road closure, I was trying to make up for some of it with a nice hotel room. I was very disappointed, again. She could care less and did nothing to try and correct the situation or even give compassion at the wrong.

−The room we booked was dirty when we went in. Bed a mess and towels in the floor. Went to get room changed and got charged a $100 more for a downgrade. (Booked King suit with kitchen, moved to double queen room no kitchen). Not happy with this at all.

−First floor oceanfront condo is a partial ocean view largely obstructed by sand dunes. I might have missed that in the description.

“Convenient and out of the fray of KDH and KITTY HAWK. Very peaceful.”
+I like the beachiness of the Hotel as it is right on the beach and the atmosphere and decor are perfect. Breakfast very convenient and many good choices. Very clean and the snacks offered after 5:00 are fabulous.
