“Exceptional Holiday”
+Very good location on the Island. The ocean is crystal clean. The tides do not affect this part of the island. Staff were all exceptional and friendly. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an awesome Holiday.

+A beautiful, spacious hotel with stunning views! The entire property is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and always attentive. The food is also absolutely delicious and of excellent quality. Nothing to complain about in these areas, everything was perfect!
−What I really didn’t like, and what I found quite misleading, was the fact that there was no hot water almost every day. I don’t think it’s acceptable that this issue wasn’t mentioned anywhere before booking. I understand that it wasn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, as the staff explained that it was related to the island’s water supply and government restrictions. However, I believe the least they could have done was inform guests in advance so we could know what to expect. After a long day on safari or at the beach, all you want is to enjoy a nice hot shower. Personally, I really don’t enjoy cold showers, and I was definitely not prepared for this situation. It was a real disappointment, especially considering the price of the stay. Thankfully, Booking.com was very responsive and helped find a solution, which I really appreciated.

+L’hôtel est joli et le cadre agréable, avec de magnifiques couchers de soleil. La barbecue night est une animation sympa qui permet de passer une bonne soirée dans une ambiance conviviale.
−En revanche, quelques points sont à améliorer. Il est un peu compliqué de trouver un transat disponible, ce qui peut vite devenir une bataille. De plus, malgré la proximité de la mer, l’accès à la plage n’est pas aussi agréable qu’on pourrait l’espérer, car on est régulièrement sollicités par les Massaïs présents sur place, ce qui peut devenir fatigant et nuire à la tranquillité du séjour.

+La chambre est grande. La literie est confortable La position de l'hôtel permet de faire de belles promenades le long de la plage en particulier vers le village de pêcheurs et le chantier naval à 1 km au sud. Le bar de la plage propose un très bon café glacé. Le petit déjeuner est correct.
−Avant de réserver, nous avions vérifié que notre séjour ne tomberait pas en même temps que la Full Moon Party (la semaine suivante). C'était donc censé être calme. Mais pendant 2 nuits consécutives, le bruit en provenance de l'hôtel Kwenda Rocks d'à-côté ne nous a pas permis de dormir. La première nuit l'hôtel voisin a installé un énorme podium (bruit continu de masses sur des barres en fer). La seconde nuit, la musique à fond faisait vibrer les murs (75 dB mesurés dans la chambre jusqu'à plus de 3 heures du matin). Les fenêtres ne fermaient pas avec un jour de 2 cm entre l'ouvrant et le dormant. A devenir fous !!! Les groupes électrogènes de secours n'alimentent pas les climatisations lors des fréquentes coupures de courant. Le lavabo et l'étagère sous le lavabo étaient desserties du mur. En prenant la douche de l'eau remonte sur le sol de la salle de bains par une évacuation. Pour le diner, nous avons essayé le restaurant le premier soir. Cela a été très mauvais avec un service déplorable : notre pire expérience de restaurant depuis très longtemps. J'ai voulu commandé un hamburger. Le serveur m'a dit qu'il n'y en avait plus. Mais il m'a proposé un hamburger avec un supplément bac

−In camera non c'era un armadio dove appoggiare la roba, verso sera saltava la corrente e l'aria condizionata si riaccendeva verso le 22/23
