“Outdated, poor food quality staff are nice”
+The location was good as you just walk out the back onto the beach
−Very dated, food was below average and the rooms are so poorly laid out. Old furniture. Rug is a trip hazard and wires sockets etc don’t seem secure. Odd smell in the room, possibly damp and aircon did not work either. We tried dinner one night and it was not edible. My friend had to send her dish back as it was so bad and the other two didn’t finish the food as it was such poor quality

“Excellent location and comfortable stay”
+Rooms are very comfortable, beds are cozy and well spaced. Breakfast has a massive selection and is the perfect way to start the day. Multiple activities available for booking to other parts of Zanzibar and well priced. Option for later checkout for 50$ if you have a later flight which was very helpful in my case! Will recommend this stay. Excellent location and overall stay.

+The location
−Not well maintained rooms, A/C was barely working. Staff was ok but not really assisting. Expensive restaurant. Breakfast not good. The only good thing about this place is the location. i didnt see any other reason for paying 120Usd in the facilities
