“Loved it would definitely come back”
+Beautiful property in a great convenient location. Four golf courses and beautiful grounds and very pleasant and helpful wait staff.
−Rooms a bit far from the lodge and spread out. And just average decorating.

“The staff steals”
+The stay was fine. They never cleaned our room while we were there which was weird. I was ok with that. What I’m not ok with it stealing possessions. We had a dinner one night with dancing and I set my prescription sunglasses on a table. The very next morning I went looking for them. The people acted like it was no big deal that the sunglasses never made it to lost and found. Why on earth would you steal prescription sunglasses? I called several times. The customer service was lacking. They basically told me they are lost. If I called a week later, I’d understand. I hadn’t even left campus and went looking for them. It’s funny it’s ok to steal from your guests. Whatever you do watch your stuff while you stay there!!

“What Sunriver Lodging promises is not what it provides”
+We rented a five bedroom/five bath home through Sunriver Resort/Lodging for six nights. It was a family reunion with three couples and four older boys. Upon arrival our kitchen refrigerator failed to work. We called for repairs since many in our group had brought food or stopped on the way to Sunriver to purchase food. To cut to the chase, we were without a kitchen refrigerator for our entire stay. There was a small over flow refrigerator in the garage intended to store items the large kitchen refrigerator could not handle. But the given the size of our party, it could never handle 10 people. We were left storing food in coolers and stocking them with ice. Needless to say, our stay was impacted by unpacking each time we wished to eat. When I sought compensation from Sunriver Lodging, they promised to notify us of the amount during our stay but they never did. I had to demand a meeting with the manager the day before our departure to discuss compensation. The offer was $500 off our $8000 bill. They claim to be a first rate resort offering “ideal” accommodations. The treatment we received speaks otherwise.

“A fun family adventure holiday in beautiful Oregon”
+Facilities, we loved The Cove the most and lots of things to do.
−The room had not been properly serviced at our arrival but the hotel soon remedied this and provided a dining voucher as a gesture of goodwill.

“Great hotel staff”
+This was our first time at Sunriver and Daniel at the front desk was so welcoming and started our vacation off in the best way possible. He was so accommodating and It truly was the best customer service we have ever experienced at a hotel. Thank you Daniel for putting us in an amazing room and for all of your assistance. Everyone else was wonderful too and our room was exceptional. We will definitely be coming back!

“Ask Daniel at the front desk!”
+Daniel at the front desk is the pinnacle of customer service excellence. It’s rare that you meet such a genuine, kind, caring and enthusiastic person in hospitality. If I were to hire him, he’d be in charge of the highest client or customer facing experiences. He made the trip fun, easy and stress free. Really appreciate all his help. The resort is wonderful and there are countless things to do, the river lodges are gorgeous, the horseback riding tour guides are wonderful at their jobs and made it exciting for both beginners and people who’ve ridden before.

“It would have been lovely if I would have a had a decent bed.”

−The bed was horrible uncomfortable. I slept in a hole all night. I would have thought for the price we paid they would have decent beds.

“Filthy, tired, one Star resort”
+Do NOT STAY here unless you are ok with tired dirty rooms. My wife, son, and I just strayed a few nights at Sunriver. We recommend you do not stay here. We flew here from Virginia and expected a nice clean room. The room was filthy and uncomfortable. The dust on the ceiling is thick and everything is done poorly. The bed my wife and I shared is on a slant. The beds are in a loft, the AC does not cool the loft, so it’s hot all night. There was feces all over the down stairs toilet upon check in. This resort is worse than a dirty old motel 6. We left tired and upset. We reported our concerns the first day and nothing was done. Will never come back.
