“A little taste of a traditional Japanese ryokan”
+It was very restful and the staff were all so friendly.
−The bar area could have been made more restful by not having a television.

“Amazing stay! Very friendly and kind staff!”
+The place is beautiful, the room and lobby and whole experience was just perfect for an onsen ryokan experience. The private onsen in the room is deep and real spa water so very hot! Easy to control and get the temperature you want with cold tap. But over everything is the staff who were all absolutely lovely and super friendly so thank you to them!🙏

“Perfect traditional ryokan”
+Staff and amenities were excellent. Bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The room is spacious and clean and the whole place has a beautiful traditional feel to it.
−Air conditioner is a little dated, took a while to cool down the room. This ryokan doesn't have a shuttle to the nearest station so you will have to bus 30 minutes.

+The onsen is very nice. I liked having options where to take the bath - personal balcony, common pools indoors and outdoors, private baths for couples. The rooms are generous in size and very comfortable. Water and snacks are in abundance, there is coffee and tea right in the room, and in the basement there are all kinds of treats.warmer. Service was great as well. The staff is friendly. There is beautiful Gora park right around the corner, and train station is nearby. Kaiseki breakfasts and dinners deserve a separate mention. The food was creative, delicious, beautifully presented.
−Spa treatments (facials and massages) are offered only on weekends. We stayed on weekdays, and it was a minus. Rooms were cold and we couldn't make them watmer.

“An amazing way to spend your days in Hakone!”
+The property is extremely cute, spotless, the staff extremely nice and helpful. The food was great, they change the menu if you stay multiple days. The onsen is very nice and clean, loved the area in the outside. It is very nice to have drinks and snacks available included in the price. The tea ceremony was super as well!
−We asked about the shuttle to go to the station and they said it wasn’t available that day which would have been nice for the steep way with the luggage.

“Soggiorno da sogno”
+Il miglior soggiorno della nostra vita! Eravamo in questo ryokan per il nostro anniversario di matrimonio e la camera, la pulizia, i pasti, la struttura e la gentilezza e customer service dello staff sono stati impeccabili. Un ringraziamento speciale va ad Hana che abbiamo incontrato durante la nostra cena e che ha reso questa esperienza ancor più indimenticabile. 花さん、ありがとうございます❤️
