“If you need a quick room for a one night stay in a great location. It's great. Long term no.”
+The location is fantastic!
−The room is dark! There is not enough light to get ready. The air conditioner was really loud that we had to turn it off to sleep. Not a fan of the automatic light in the restroom. Also, the plugs were loose, our phones would not charge, the one near the bed could only work if we had the light on.

“Safe convenient affordable place to stay”
+Great location Clean nice staff
−Water pressure a little lie from the rain shower head ? But was fine with the wand. Took a while to get warm water… (not that serious )

−Noise from the pipe during the night is creepy and disturbing . The water in the pool is not acceptable.

“The best value and location to price ratio in Playa del Carmen.”
+The best value for your money in Playa del Carmen. This is my second time staying here and I am always satisfied with the location and the facilities, with those extra rooms and the balcony to relax at night with a cld beer.
−Not a biggie, but there was still toothpaste residue from the last visitor at the sink, it means it was not properly cleaned.

+The room was large and so was the bathroom. The AC was great.
−Things that were not as advertised. The balcony has no view only a building 2 feet from the railing. The pool was about the size of 2 bath tubs.. toaster and coffee pot did not work without holding the tops down. Room plugs on the walls did not hold a US plug. They kept falling out and the bedside did not work at all. The room is very dark.

+I spent a total of 7 weeks in Riviera Maya, writing about cenotes, and stayed in quite a few places in a similar price range. This one probably ended up being my favorite. I had the same room on the top floor when I checked back in, and it was large enough that I could keep my work space and my relaxing/sleeping spaces separate. As I said in my previous review, it was quiet at night despite being right off 5th Avenue, and I felt completely self contained. But just a few steps to all the shops and restaurants on 5th.

“Top of my list when I return to PDC”
+Huge room! Spacious and light, with a big comfortable bed and a separate seating area with a comfortable sofa. Nice big bathroom too. I especially appreciated the complimentary coffee in the room. I work online and had no problems with the wifi, very fast and reliable for video calls. The location is right off 5th Ave, but without the noise. As soon as I closed the doors it was quiet. Also thumbs up for the nice rooftop pool. I had a problem with a leaky aircon during my stay, bit it was fixed fast and efficiently.
−Not a complaint because it will be temporary, but there's currently construction noise next door. Nothing too intrusive and they finished by 6pm, and it won't be forever.
