+I like the hospitality of the staff, they are genuinely welcoming and glad to have visitors. I loved the dinner with other guests, I got to meet the nicest of forever friends. Such a unique experience! I love that Subira grows their own food, from farm to food! I liked the rich history of Subira! Great at conservation!

+Great location, the wonderful staff and great value for money. Try dinner - the chef is amazing! Design and heritage vibe is great
−Room was a bit basic but not a huge downside considering the price. It was still comfortable and adequate for a short stay. Can be a little noisy but I think that's just the old town in general.

“An excellent hotel, a good location, friendly staff and people!”
+The staff were genuinely interested in the comfort and well being of the guests. The were friendly, professional, and efficient. They were not too busy to answer questions about where to go on the island, etc. Also, I liked that all the guests had a meal together - a lovely way to socialise.

“Most instagrammable hotel, friendliest staff”
+Thanks to Mohammad and the team for the best stay, very welcoming and the most picturesque Swahili mansion. Once you get used to the organic toilets, it actually all works well. Best location on the whole island.
