“Nice hotel but watch out for poor exchange rates”
+Friendly staff, clean, modern rooms, good location and a lovely breakfast served on the roof terrace
−The rooms let a lot of light in from the hallway/other rooms making it difficult to sleep. The price on booking is in USD but they charged us in PEN, no problem in principle, however, they used a VERY unfavourable exchange rate increasing the total cost by over 10%.

“Incredibly helpful staff in an affordable, comfortable hotel.”
+Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had a well-functioning AC and very comfortable beds. The real standout feature of the hotel was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay as easy as possible, always willing to help in any way they could. The hotel offered excellent laundry, food delivery, and taxi services. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were also in constant communication with them via WhatsApp, and they consistently responded to our questions within minutes.

“Unprofessional staff and environment but high end appliances and bed”
+The beds were comfy. The shower had hot water. They offered cleaning daily and had laundry services. Decent TVs in the main room and bedroom. Cold AC.
−To start with, we arrived at about 5 PM, well after check in time. We had also been communicating via WhatsApp prior so they were aware we were coming. Upon arrival they had us wait 10 minutes to tell us the room had an issue and they wanted us to walk 3 blocks with our luggage that was very heavy to another hotel, not the one we paid for. 3 blocks isn't much but iquitos streets has tons of stairs and leaves and motorcycles on the sidewalk and we just got back from the jungle so it was painful. The ladies at the front were disorganized too. Then at the apartment, they had construction going on upstairs. You could also hear people in the hallways all day. Yelling and such. There's no privacy or quiet. The internet was very slow with packet loss. There is a repeater and as a systems admin repeaters only clog up the connection and cause more packet loss. I work remotely and was unable to work from the wifi for most of the day. Lastly, on the second to last day a cleaning lady randomly entered our apartment while I was naked to try and give us our laundry from the day prior. No call/text as a heads or ring at the apartment phone. Complete invasion of privacy.
