10.0“Amazing stay”
+The place was spotless, the location was amazing. The pod we stayed in was so cosy and hot tub was ready to go and perfect temp. Check in was easy and quick. Shout out to Rebekah who replied to any questions super quick and was lovely. Bonus was the wee box of doggy treats. We will definitely be back.

4.0“Scotland as ever is beutiful, but the accommdation fell short.”
+The park is located in a lovely area, very quiet and well maintained. A 20m car journey gets you into Dunoon, a small shopping area, some cafe's and restaurants and a Morrisons and Co-op supermarket. The Jet petrol station on the way into the town offered the cheapest fuel that we could find in the area. The Benmore botanic gardens are well worth a visit and from there you can walk around them or cross the road and walk along the footpaths to Pucks Glen, worth noting though, is that the river gorge walk at Pucks glen is currently closed due to storm damage, but non the less some good (not to strenuous walking) can still be had. We also drove to fort William via the Glencoe pass and if you haven’t driven along this route before it's a must see. The sheer scale of the landscape is breathtaking.
−We were quite disappointed with the accommodation itself (getaway pod) it is very small and cramped and to be honest only suitable for short stays (2 or 3 nights at the most) as there is limited storage and food preparation areas. There was not even a welcome pack, not even a tea bag! We stayed 10 nights and in hindsight could have got far better for what it cost us. (£130 per night) As others have noted, the bathroom is very small and access to it and the bedroom requires a sideways shuffle. The reason we chose it is because everything else on the site other than the getaway pods allow dogs. There are no facilities on the camp other than a small bar area, which has limited opening times. You can use the facilities on one of their sister camps Hunters Quay, but that means a 20m drive. Whilst Argyle and Bute is a beautiful part of Scotland, if you are not a walker there is not very much else to do and everything requires a significant car journey.
