+Location good but very dated could do with quite a lot of work.
−Stayed two nights and didn't see a member of staff at all.

+Good location, easy to check in. Cute cabin design, fireplace
−Only a,single chair in living room area, found dirty towel and food on carpets so maybe not thoroughly cleaned. Also no ice on site.

“Making local motels look bad”
+I booked a room to escape 90+ degree heat during a 5-day camping trip, but the room was completely unusable. The shower only produced scalding hot water , so hot the clerk could barely hold the showerhead. They eventually told me to use a different room , one already rented to other guests , and I took a three‑minute shower because I was worried the actual guests would show up at any moment. This meant no shower for my daughter. The A/C was disassembled, replaced with a tiny temporary unit that cooled about 7 inches of space. The room was hot, humid, and impossible to stay in. I spent 45 minutes total in the room, most of it with the manager and clerk inside trying (and failing) to fix things. We headed back to the campsite while they worked on it. I never stayed the night, and we didn't so much as sit on the bed. They promised to call when the bathroom was usable. No call. When I returned at checkout, the shower didn’t even have a showerhead attached. The manager apologized and said he’d “make it right.” Instead, he refunded less than 50% and claimed I “stayed in the room.” This motel provided no working shower, no real A/C, no privacy, no follow‑through, and no integrity. “NOT A CABIN AT ALL”
+What is advertised as a “cabin” is actually a “strip hotel along the side of a highway” (see pic) It is less serene and more ‘what I would rent if I were a fugitive hiding out’ A room just small enough that when the second bed is wedged in, you nearly have to crawl over it to access the bathroom. Comes with a tv that doesn’t work. Your phone likely won’t either but that’s not really their fault. If this is your last resort it will work. Otherwise, find something else

+The room I arrived to (15) was awful! The bed was obviously worn out on the side away from the window and the bed squeaked whenever I moved. The road noise defied that there were windows and doors. The toilet was not bolted firmly to the floor. Not a single picture on the wall. The kitchenette had barely enough cooking and eating utensils for a basic meal. The second night I thought I’d sleep on the side of the bed closest to the window out of desperation, but when I pulled back the sheets I questioned whether the sheets had been changed. After a second sleepless night on the worn side of the bed I requested a room change. To their credit I was moved to a much more comfortable room, though without apology or credit. Room 9 did not have a kitchenette, but did have a microwave and small fridge. It had been remodeled and was much quieter (road noise) and the bed was comfortable. That being said the walls are paper thin as I discovered when I had neighbors on either side for the remainder of my stay. Those three nights people were in and out at all hours, TVs blaring and loud and sometimes apparently drunken chatter. I knew when I made the reservation that this was a budget option to a

“No frills motel”
+No frills motel! Our first night the bed was terrible. But we asked at the desk for a different room and this bed was a bit better. The newly remodeled room much better than the older rooms.. the pool is not very clean. The water was hot in the shower. Room towels are likely washed with bleach they have that smell. . And the rooms were clean.
