“Wouldn’t recommend”
+Large room and very friendly, hospitable staff. The fruit at breakfast was fresh.
−Unfortunately the room needed a good clean. I’m not overly fussy but the toilet smelt like urine. The shower hot water tap also dripped into the rubbish bin (I’m assuming that why the bin was placed there). The shower door was broken and unenjoyable. The stay came with complimentary breakfast but no options or variety. The place really needs a thorough clean.

+The location was situated close by to the lake, and the other main bits. The hotel staff were very friendly, and they greeted us with a welcome drink. Their card machine was broken to make the payment however they gave us time to go into the centre to withdraw money to pay them later.
−The hotel had a very damp smell. The showers were very tricky to use.

“Decent stay would book again”

“Location and staff were great! Cleanliness not so much”
+The staff were helpful with letting us know where to go. They kindly upgraded us to the room with a balcony as well.
−We had to pay cash because the system was down. And I think the bigger issue was there were some lice or some sort of jumping bugs on the bed. We were only there for one night so we didn’t fuss about it too much, but we did let the hotel staff know. I’m not sure if he understood what I was saying though.

“Charming..quiet”
+I love the view…and the lovely young lady at the front desk very sweet..the charm of the place..I loved my balcony with the fabulous view..bed was comfy..3 night stay. Love that it’s so near everything’s but away from main road and on an easily walkable hill. Nearby is the lake and food water and shopping plus some restaurants easy walk. There is a bar restaurant like a block away and the Garden Club tennis center super close with a bar.
−The shower was…in need of update but fine for the 3 day stay:)

+The hotel was in a good location up a hill off the lake and approx 20 min walk to Kandy centre. Our room was large & had a balcony overlooking the lake area, It was clean & well equipped with nice bathroom & a kettle & tea & coffee & bottled water. The breakfast was pleasant & included juice & fruits followed by cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, we would stay here again.
−Nothing apart from there were no toiletries in the bathroom as stated on booking.com but the staff soon brought up soap & smaĺ bottle of shower gel when I asked.

“Good value nice quiet, spacious place to stay in KANDY”
+I was welcomed by friendly staff and gave me a nice fresh juice welcome drink. My room was very big. Huge comfortable bed and a patio with stunning views over Kandy and a nice quiet location on a small hill hence the beautiful views
−Only the shower room was outdated albeit clean and manageable

“Though they said you have a beautiful view of the lake you couldn't see it .”

−Breakfast, washroom facilities( door of the shower is broken and had to handle carefully as not to get it fall on your head)
