“I would not recommend staying here.”
+The room was large.
−The room smelled very musty and smelled like mildew. It horrible for my allergies. There was mold in the bathroom. The room was dark with not nearly enough light options. The stairs up to the room weren’t very stable. The place was very old which we expected but the maintenance was lacking in a big way. If we could have found a hotel at our next location, Isle of Skye, we would haves have left after one night. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything and we suffered another night. The room was over $ 400 US per night so we expected a clean , well cared for location.

“Beautiful, majestic and comfortable.”
+Wow- such a beautiful place and an amazing room! We loved it here. Such a comfortable bed, beautiful decor, and an exquisite bathroom. Highly recommend booking a long stay in this amazing place. There are also other rooms/cabins beyond the Rectory which looked amazing as well. The perfect place for whatever type of stay you need. Don't miss it!
−Absolutely nothing could be improved, we loved this place.

“Great location but average hotel”
+The staff were very friendly and kind. The location was also superb.
−Our room was extremely dusty and needed a thorough clean. Some of the furniture needs updating as they had many stains on them.

“Great place for an overnight stay”
+A nice old manor house. Our room was spacious with a beautiful four poster comfortable bed. The dark wallpaper was dramatic, but left for a fairly dark room. Bathroom was elegant, fully tiled with excellent tub and shower. Location is excellent for seeing the wild Mountains of the Glencoe area.
−Only offered a continental breakfast for $17 per person. Breakfast is in a small dining room around a single table for 6 to 8 people. The lack of a hot breakfast was the main negative feature. The property has no significant landscaping, but does have a nice view of the water across the road
