“Great vase to do the hikes from”
+Great location and cute cabin in the forest. Warm and comfortable bed. Greg was lovely and very informative when we checked in
−Was very cold and needed the airconditioning and little electric log heater on all night. Some blinds or curtains may block out the cold

+The surrounding area was peaceful, away from the city life. Everything you need to be comfortable, the room was perfect. It's refreshing not having phone service!

“Weekend at Lyrebird Ridge”
+Beautiful spot right in the rainforest. Fully self contained, the wildlife came right to your door. Lovely double spa, great place for a couples weekend away.
−Pity the bedroom wasn't in the loft, I expect it has been at some stage, but now used as storage, it gave creepy vibes. An actual timber fireplace would've been awesome.

“Disappointing and substandard cleanliness”
+Location is stunning Greg is lovely
−The accommodation was sub standard considering the price per night The fireplace is fake, yes it says it's electric... however noone reads the fine print! The "fireplace" blew a tiny amount of warm air from the bottom. Very hard to regulate the temperature of the room with the air-conditioning. The bathroom was freezing. Wall and floor tiles with zero heating.lower than the rest of the cottage with high ceilings. Impossible to get warm. And because of the coldness of the tiles, the floor was constantly covered in condensation . Cleanliness was lacking. Empty condom/wrappers under the bed. Quite dusty. Fremantle in the cupboard hadn't been cleaned at all. The DVD played worked intermittently.

“Peaceful and tranquil”
+Did not have breakfast, Location is perfect Peaceful and tranquil On our previous stay the fireplace was accrual wood burning which was part of the charm however it is now electric which is disappointing
−The facilities indicate free wifi which is misleading as there is absolutely no connection within the cabin, you have to go up to reception to connect, As there is no one at reception except on request it makes it difficult to know when to catch someone there There is also no free to air television available
