“Bad Experience”
−Hotel Review Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The overall hygiene and cleanliness of the property were well below the standard I would expect from a hotel. Several areas appeared poorly maintained and did not feel properly cleaned, which made the stay uncomfortable. The furniture throughout the hotel was very old, worn and outdated. The rooms and common areas would benefit greatly from renovation and replacement of the furniture. The condition of the property did not match my expectations, and the overall environment felt neglected rather than welcoming and comfortable. Another major concern was the management and communication. Communication from management was very poor, and it was difficult to receive clear information or appropriate responses when assistance was needed. Good customer service and communication are extremely important in a hotel, particularly when guests raise concerns, but unfortunately I did not feel that my concerns were handled professionally or efficiently. “Overpriced, falsely advertised. Avoid!!”
+It’s an interesting old place in a great location but a massive disappointment, thoroughly misrepresented in the booking.com profile.
−It was ridiculously expensive for what you get. The bar & restaurant were closed but nobody messaged us before we arrived, so plans to rest and eat in were replaced by a trip back to Jindabyne (so why stay here??). The heated pool and steam room were also closed. The building heating was turned off, the fridge in our room was broken. There was no sign of any staff.
