“Had fun although the hotel is run down.”
+The room was very large with a long balcony. Very large bathrooms which were fine. Sunday brunch is one of the best. Music in the bar lively and fun.
−The rooms are very dated , old and dinghy. Beds are horrible, the king was so worn we slept in separate queens. My husband could hardly walk the next morning and I was very stiff. Bully restaurant took forever to get us a hamburger which was raw. Bar service was very slow too.

“We always enjoy our stay. Very comfortable beds and food was excellent. Beautiful surroundings.”
+We have always enjoyed your breakfast buffet, but believe it is overpriced. Loved all the amenities in the bathroom. Pool area is a favorite. Lovely flowers everywhere. Excellent chicken wings.
−Only bathrooms outside of room was in the basement. Did find one in the pool area, however. Overpriced breakfast buffet.

+Great hotel! We came here for a mini honeymoon after our wedding. We also arrived in our converted ambulance that we often have trouble parking in valet and they worked with us easily to make sure we could park on property.

“Beautiful and Special Hotel”
+This is a very special place - like living in a luxurious villa (a bit old on th inside but still beautifully maintained. And the grounds, The pool, the dining room are so Romaric and intimate that it is truely unique. We were here in summer and lying on a chaise lounge by the creek is not to be missed!

“Outstanding vacation”
+My husband, my daughter and I stayed here during our trip to Vail, and we had a really great experience. The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, and in a perfect location. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome. The front desk staff and the bellhops were always friendly and happy to help whenever we needed anything. We'd also like to thank Stefan, who was especially kind and made us feel very well taken care of during our stay. A special thank you to Karol, who cleaned our room every day. She did an amazing job, and it was always nice to come back to a spotless room after spending the day out. We also really enjoyed the food. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options, and we had excellent dinners at Bully Ranch and Swiss Chalet. We ended up stopping at Treff Café every morning because we loved the coffee. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The combination of great service, comfortable rooms, and excellent restaurants made this an easy place to recommend. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Vail.

“Great experience!”
+We stayed at Sonnenalp for our weekend summer trip to the mountains. Everything was fantastic. We have 3 under 5 and the room and facilities were great - and we loved being able to walk to everything easily. We actually didn't need our car at all.
