“Made our vacation really special!”
+I had a fantastic stay at this hotel , everything exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and very comfortable, with excellent beds and a great water pressure in the shower , small things that really make a difference. The common areas are equally impressive: the lobby is cozy and stylish, and there’s also a dining area and a bar. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming , it’s clear they care about guests’ comfort. What truly made the experience special was the owner. He’s a passionate skier and provided us with a detailed pre‑arrival guide to help us get ready for the trip. He went above and beyond: met us early in the morning from the bus, organises daily transfers to the ski resorts, explains how to get back, and even helped us arrange the shipment of our belongings back to Tokyo. His support was invaluable in helping us adapt to the new environment. Another nice touch is the weekly dinner options , we loved the homemade sushi and pizza nights!
−The only minor point is that the breakfasts are a bit repetitive, but that’s easily manageable: there’s a Lawson nearby, so you can grab something extra and keep it in the fridge if you’re looking for more variety. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place , it’s perfect for ski lovers and anyone looking for a warm, supportive atmosphere!

+Stephen and Sarasa were both lovely. The staff were also very nice! The accomodation was beautiful, very clean and warm. It was nice that they had a little onsen for guests.

+Amazing people running the place like a big family. Onsen was really nice after a day of skiing. Very nice bar and I highly recommend their tequila.

“Warm welcoming and quite lovely”
+Where do I begin It was like a home away come home. Stephen and his lovely wife Sarasa could not have been more welcoming. All the staff are so lovely. I loved being able to have an onsen at any time I wanted which was usually around 5 am while the kettle was boiling in the dining area. So when I had finished I could have my tea😊 I do bring my own milk from Aus so I was able to keep it in the kitchen I like to make my time away feel as homley as possible There was ample food for breakfast and you eat while the fire is burning at the other end of the dining 💕 Such a great way to start your day I also ate in a few nights for dinner and the food Sarasa served was delicious ,and beyond what I expected ✨✨why go out if I could eat in. There are 2 log fires so throughout the lodge you can smell that device scent of a winter fire which just adds so much to a winter holiday. The communal areas are huge and very easy to find a corner nook to get cosy in, and not feel like you have to partake in conversations with others if you don’t want to. There is a piano and I wish I played as every time I walked past I wanted to have a crack at It The location is great, literally a 5 min walk to Echo

“Well appointed lodge, with fabulous staff ready to look after you.”
+I’m reluctant to let everyone know what a fabulous experience we had, out of fear that we won’t get a booking next time we head to Hakuba. Snowlines goes the extra mile for their guests, making all feel welcome. Geared towards those who are skiing or boarding- it’s ideal! Steve and Surasa know what they’re doing and it shows. Delicious breakfast, shuttles are provided to the ski fields each morning and there is a bus stop out the front, and others within walking distance. The facilities are clean and comfortable, an onsite bar that’s reasonably priced and well stocked. Warm, extremely clean and comfortable-The lodge is an environment you are happy to spend time in when not on the slopes. Dining in options were offered and fabulous! Excellent communication, Lots of extra services available at a reasonable cost, we left feeling well looked after and disappointed we couldn’t stay longer.
