1.0+I did not like apartment Very bad for £890 per week. So annoying bad smell from mushrooms and horrible kitchen without equipment. Shower old, apartment was unclean us well
−I booked Smart Homes at 40 Hogarth Road SW5 OPU for 7 nights 8-15 Sept. Property was unfit. Severe damp, mould and MUSHROOM growth in bedroom (Category 1 hazard). Very bad smell in bedroom, kitchen. Shower broken for 2 days - no hot water, could not shower. Kitchen absolutely not equipped - no pots/pans, could not cook. Not clean well badroom I reported to owner and RBKC Environmental Health. Had to leave early Monday 15 Sept for health and safety. Moved to fully equipped cheaper flat. Requesting FULL refund. Photos available. Booking.com ignored my refund request for 7 days. Us well doesn’t offer other healthy accommodation. Reported to Trading Standards and bank for chargeback. Owner blocked me on WhatsApp when I asked for proper kitchen equipment for electric hob - she brought useless items.

1.0“Unsafe, dirty, wouldn’t recommend bad value for money spent”
+The location was okay
−The property was unclean and there were stains on the floor in the bedroom and kitchen worktops the curtain pole in the living area was held up with a screwdriver, which ended up falling down and landing on my elderly mothers head. Very unsafe.

2.0“Given the wrong address and wrong code to the flat and accommodation was not ready for us when we arrived for another ho”
+The location was convenient near the station
−Unclean - stained mattress and mattress protector, chewed gum pressed into the pull out mattress, stains on sofa and kitchen counter tops. Shower scum and dirt on walls. Fridge was dirty and smelled bad, uncomfortable stay and felt really unclean

7.0“Great location, you get what you pay for”
+Reading the reviews beforehand made us extremely anxious about our stay, but in reality our experience was much better than expected. The location is definitely the biggest positive and for London we felt it was good value for money. It was 2 nights for a family of 5 for under £400 and we were happy overall with what we got. When we arrived and called, the phone was answered and someone came to let us in quickly. We had booked a 2 bed apartment but due to an issue we were given two rooms instead. Thankfully they were separated only by a flight of stairs, opposite each other in the same building and for a short 2 night stay it honestly was not worth the drama. After reading the reviews we were prepared for a smell in the bathrooms, so we bought toilet duck and bleach with us beforehand and had no issues at all. We were in London in 30 degree heat and an old building (no lifts), so expectations need to be realistic. (Photo of the staircase features).
−Communication before arrival could definitely be improved as I had messaged a few days before and again on the day with no response. The listing also states self check-in, however someone had to come from a nearby building to let us in. The accommodation is basic and not luxury by any means, but it also does not pretend to be. If you are expecting the Ritz, this is not for you, but if you want somewhere affordable and central to sleep while close to transport links to explore the Chelsea area of London, it does the job.

1.0“'Landlord Special' - The art of stealing people's hard earned money.”
+The Location was convenient. Close to the tube station. That is the extent of the good things I have to say.
−There is almost too much to list that was wrong with this place. The photos made it look like a modern, bright apartment with nice furniture and a pleasant atmosphere. The apartment we ended up with was tiny, dark, dingy, clearly cobbled together by a very cheap builder dividing a larger room. There were so, so, so many problems. It smelled awful. Walls were very thin. Extremely noisy from the other tenants and noise outside. It was filthy. Many stains and marks on the walls. Used tissues on the floor. Missing features we paid for: -Dining area. There was no dining area what so ever. Just a small bench with a single chair. -Washing machine. One of the main reasons we wanted to book an apartment was to have access to a washing machine as we have been traveling a lot all month and need to clean our clothes. The apartment did not have one. -'Parquet Floors'. A small niggle to be fair, but cheap Ikea floating floor boards are not a parquet floor. Broken or badly fitted features: -Mattress was half collapsed. Simultaneously incredibly hard and uncomfortable but also collapsed so the person sleeping on the right side was almost rolling off. You could feel every spring digging into you. -

8.0+Very good location. Lots of places to eat nearby and right near underground. Big and spacious and easy to get into
−We couldn't get the hob working, and when I messaged to ask, we didn't get a reply. Which was disappointing

8.0“Good price-quality.”
+If you have high standards I recomend you book a Mariott or a 4 seasons. After reading the other reviews on this appartment honestly I was kind of on edge, but when I got there, I saw that it was just what I had imagined. You get what you pay for 1 double bed 1 living room with a pull out sofa, perfect for a group of 3 friends. The location is fantastic and very safe with coffee and breakfast close and nightlife. Great place to stay for a couple of days.
−The only thing was that there is a window that doesn't close which is kind of weird , maybe check that out as not everybody is okay with this especially in winter but we were fine.

3.0“Ubicación y sofá cama fantasmas”
+Que estaba en Londres ciudad
4. Restos de pelos en el baño.
