“Stalwart and spacious hotel for short or long stays!”
+This place has been around forever and it’s still the most room square footage and amenities for the price in NYC. Great place especially if you’re traveling with a partner, the rooms are large enough flr luggage and still moving around comfortably. Super comfortable bed, great sexy dark decor & styling, good water pressure shower. Also an incredible location, right next to a subway station, tons of incredible food and dining, and great vintage shopping in the lower east side. You really feel immersed in NY city life and my favorite neighborhood and hotel.
−I’ve always had great stays, but this time I had a neighbor who would talk on the phone at 6am and it literally sounded like she was in my room. I’ve never experienced that other times I’ve stayed here, I always thought the hotel was quiet (it is quiet from street noise), but this was unusual, like they forgot insulation between my and this other neighbor’s rooms. It was a huge bummer two mornings in a row. The only other small nitpick: The full length mirror is on the back of the bathroom door making it awkward to use. Simple design fix!

“Horrific, horrible, unsafe, disgusting, I'd rather stay in a tent”
+Nothing, there is not one positive about this property.
−DO NOT STAY HERE.- The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Our stay at Sixty LES was completely unacceptable. The room reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. The hotel was extremely loud due to the club operating on OUR FLOOR, with sketchy people roaming the halls. More seriously, we witnessed and experienced concerning issues involving drug use and safety that left us genuinely uncomfortable and concerned about being on the property. We overheard staff talking saying that they felt unsafe working there and the police were on property several times. It was so bad we left early for another hotel. We reported everything to the front desk. At checkout, we were specifically told that a manager would contact us to discuss our concerns. No one ever did. We followed up again. We also raised the matter with the booking platform. Still nothing. The complete lack of accountability from management is disgraceful. When guests raise concerns involving safety, smoking and suspected drug activity, the bare minimum is to respond and take the complaints seriously. If you are considering booking this hotel, read the reviews carefully. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend staying

“Great hotel from Monday to Wednesday. You better want to party until the early hours on the weekend.”
+Pool was great. Rooms, large and spacious.
−Thursday night I could listen to the music of the Night Club until 4am. Barely slept. Furtermore, no breakfast, no restaurant, nothing available. That should have been mentioned in capital letters when I booked. Staff was amazing!
