“Very nice place and family is so so kind !”
+Very nice place! all was good inside, bathroom is very original and water have the best pressure and temperature we saw in Sri Lanka.
−Access can be little bit difficult because of stairs but owner is always here to help!

“Not a nice hotel”
+The beds and the breakfast was okay.
−When we arrived, it felt as if they were not expecting us. We were taken to a room with a glass wall so everybody passing could see us in the room. We drew the curtains, and the room became very dark. The socalled view to the mountains was blocked by a large number of cables and the balcony was not outside our room, but outside the next room. The room was freezing cold. The one wall had holes in it without glass in them, letting the cold air into the room. We told them right away that we wanted to check out, but still had to pay for 2 days. The location was so far away from everything that I would have been afraid to walk there in the dark, had I bern alone.

+The host was so friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely and they even made me a breakfast bag to go when i had to leave early in the morning. There was a nice atmosphere, I think there are only 3-4 rooms so the place is usually quiet and a few minutes walk from the busy main street in Ella. The bed was comfortable and free water refill/ tea making facilities
−The homestay is down a little street 10 mins from the main road so in the dark at night can feel a little scary to get to as a solo female- although I personally had no issues and this is not the fault of the homestay directly!

“Highly recommend this place for a few-day stay in Ella!”
+Sitha's Heaven is a really nice place to stay in Ella for a few days. It is very clean inside, and the location is great, a bit away from the main road and busy and noisy area, which I personally liked. It is also very close to the Little Adam's Peak and 9 Arch Bridge - you can easily walk to those places. The owner is kind and helpful, you can ask him anything about Ella and how to get to different places and hiking trails. The balcony is overlooking the Ella Rock, so you will be having breakfast with a beautiful view. Even though I had issues with hot water in the beginning of my stay, it was fixed quickly and I could eventually have a warm shower. The bed is big and comfortable. I was also allowed to go to the rooftop of the hostel next to the property, which has a great vibe and it saved me during the rainy day. There is a very sweet dog in the territory as well!
−During the day, the room does feel a little dark, but in the evening time, I liked the warm dimmed lights in the room.

+We arrived quite late due to the rain and they were very accommodating. The hosts were very nice. Breakfast was big and very lovely.
−They put us in a different room than booked due to a double booking I believe. However the bed smelled horrible. The pillow was incredibly musty/sweaty, the blanket had not been washed and the bedsheets smelt like BO and sweat. The rest of the apartment was nice but we couldn’t over how bad it smelt being in that bed.

“Unas vistas increibles”
+La habitacion muy limpia. La localizacion, no esta en la calle principal, y para llegar hay cuestas, pero esta a 5-10 mins, ademas merece la pena porque asi no llega el ruido de noche de la calle principal y las vistas son INCREIBLES.
