“Location is good but property is not clean and well-maintained”
+We liked the location of the property, right on the beach. This was the best part of our stay. And also the staff, they were very helpful, attentive and hospitable with all requests. I was sick for few days and they made some light food as requested outside of the menu. So grateful for that.
−The cleanliness and the room planning, especially the sea view rooms right above the kitchen. We got one of those rooms and struggled the 1st night with the kitchen exhaust smell and somehow that burnt oil smell was in the beddings and we couldn’t sleep that night. It was very uncomfortable and next day we requested for a room change away from the kitchen. They did and it was better. The bathrooms were also bit unclean. Most importantly, we went in August which is usually off season and as per some staff this was the main reason for the uncleanliness but yet unacceptable for the price. There were cow dung all around the property, right on the beach in front of the restaurant which was stinking and was unpleasant to just stand outside for sometime on the beach. Had to walk much farther away to feel better. And surprisingly the next neighboring resort turned out to be so much better & so clean. We decided to have breakfast one of the days and they had the same issues of so many cows around but probably they took some effort to clean their property which lacked at Simrose. We loved the staff at Simrose but I will never visit there again due to this experience.

+The staff (both hotel and restaurant) were excellent. Anytime we needed anything they were kind and there to help. The restaurant was excellent. Great food choice and quality, with very agreeable prices and awesome/friendly waiters.
−The hotel area was a bit dilapidated . For instance, there was a sewage smell on one side of the property that they attempt to hide with incense. Also, some masonry around the pool was very dirty (almost moldy) and some of the bungalows had this ugly plastic to cover what should be windows or screens. Finally, an extra mattress was brought in for my son and it was brown. The pool was quite dirty as well, and our kids stopped swimming in it.

“Overall good value for money”
+Overall, I think this is a good-value-for-money place. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bed sheets and towels were clean (which is the most important thing for me!), and the air conditioning worked properly. The restaurant is nicely designed in a beach-bar style, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is served à la carte, and the portions are generous enough even for a hungry man in the early morning! It also includes coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The accommodation is right on Agonda Beach (South Goa) making it easy to access the beach and the many beach bars nearby. The check-in and check-out processes were professional and smooth. Overall, a good place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a great beachside location at a reasonable price!
−The bathroom wasn't the nicest-looking, but it was clean and everything was functional. The Wi-Fi could be a little faster, but it worked (almost) all the time throughout the property. My room had a garden view and was a bit dark, with no direct sunlight throughout the day, but that's what I booked. I can imagine that the chalets facing the beach are much, much nicer, although they come at a different price.

“Gute Lage, mittelmäßigen Komfort”
+Die direkte Strandlage war schön. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut und lief leise. Die Bedienung im Restaurant war sehr freundlich. Danke an Ninesh.
−Die Abendstunden waren bedingt durch die laute Musik der Restaurants sehr unruhig. Die Zimmeraustattung war funktional. Die frischen Handtücher sahen sehr abgenutzt und schmuddelig aus. Ebenso waren die Tische im Restaurant nicht wirklich sauber. Eine Yogaplattform sowie Yogastunden werden nicht angeboten.

“Шумопоглощение улучшить и наладить работу кондиционера.”
+Отель находится в 50 м от океана. Вкусно готовили в ресторане, большой выбор блюд.
−Отель расположен так, что номера и коттеджи собраны вокруг ресторана и это большая проблема. Сами помещения сделаны из тонкого материала, слышно все, что происходит вокруг. А так как ресторан заканчивает свою работу в 23.00, то так или иначе ты вынужден слышать все. Кроме того тонкость стен, окон и крыши не давало возможно сть отдохнуть от шума вокруг-это и шум волны, и бесконечно лающие собаки и местные жители, которые проходят мимо.

+Die Nähe zum Strand ist unschlagbar und Bar/Restaurant fand ich sehr ansprechend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.
−ich hatte mir von den Bildern ein bisschen mehr versprochen. Das Ressort ist schon ziemlich verwohnt.
