“Lovely welcoming stay”
+Really lovely personal service, the hosts did everything they could to accommodate us including meeting us at the train station to help take luggage up to the accommodation. The accommodation is up a big hill like most of looe however this gives lovely views and is also right in the town and easy access to the train station within minutes.
−If you can't walk up a hill, this one isn't for you. No cars can access the accommodation, not even a taxi.

+Our stay at Silverbirch was so good. The Guest house was exceptionally clean and comfortable with a lovely room looking over the river. The host were amazing, Lesley, Tommy and Tim were the loviest people and the the cooked breakfast was a 12 out of 10. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

“Fantastic views friendly staff”
+On first arriving and walking up the steep hill we thought I hope this place is worth it. Well we weren't disappointed. The view was amazing and the air was so fresh. We were met by Lesley who was genuinely happy to see us and explained everything we needed to know. The room was fresh clean and comfortable and very peaceful. Great hair dryer too. The breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble for them. Tony was a font of knowledge and it was lovely chatting to him about the area. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
−I won't lie the walk up is steep but only for a very short walk. And to be at the top of the hill overlooking the whole town was fantastic.

“Excellent value for money.”
+The location was up quite a steep hill, however the views were well worth it. Most mornings we sat having our breakfast in the window with incredible views of the estuary and harbour. Shops, pubs, restaurants, bus stop and train station, all within a few minutes walk. Our hosts, Tommy, Tony and Lesley, made us extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast menu gave you plenty of choice, quality ingredients and it was extremely tasty! The room itself was very clean, with plenty of storeage, tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable bed. All in all exceptional value for money, we will definitely stay again.
