+The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended.

“Bel endroit accueillant.”

“Great hospitality”
+Very warm, attentive and welcoming staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was tasty and served in a nice open air dining room. Very close to Udawalawe National Park (go early to see animals). Staff were genuinely kind people. Enjoyed our stay a lot.

“The best cook in Sri Lanka!”
+Very nice hotel and very warm and friendly staff. We went to safari and everything worked very well. This hotel has the best cook and the best food in Sri Lanka! Especially the rice and vegetable curry were delicious! We really enjoyed!

“The place is ok”
+The owner's attitude was nice, location is quite close to the Udawalawe National Park. Breakfast however was only an omelet, 2 pieces of toast and a small cup of juice for each person which wasn't enough for us. The room was full of dust, and the air coming out of the AC feels like mold. If you want to join the safari, the owner has a jeep and a driver to take us into the safari in the morning which needs an additional cost, and we feel it's a little too high price.
