“Superb”
+Very comfortable, clean & bright rooms. The bathroom is superb. The interior is well designed, spacious and looks brand new. Very good deal and C/P.
−The A/C is a little hard to control. You must stand right under the control panel.

“Really glad we came to Hualien and stayed away from the city! Tourism has fallen here since the 2024 earthquake but it i”
+The property is so close to Taroko gorge which you can still drive easily with a driver or renting a moped by Xincheng station. It’s still so so so worth doing and this property’s location made that so easy plus the close proximity to the beach is a great bonus and with Mountain View from the balcony and garden and rooms on the property! It was quaint and well looked after and had a really wonderful homely touch where the owners, who were the most wonderfully kind and hospitable people, have put genuine love into it making it very comfortable for travellers through Hualien.
−Nothing at all it was a great little stay and great value for money

+The owner of the place was super friendly! They gave me an upgrade as I was the only traveller staying in the entire place! The location is 8 minute walk away to Manbo beach so you can see the sunrise. The owner also gives good restaurant recommendations and helps whenever they can!

“Overall great stay and I would come back”
+I really like the location, but if you don’t have your own transportation, it is a bit far from the main area. It was very quiet and had beautiful views on the mountains. The room was clean and cozy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay again.
−Nothing, it was a great stay.

“Incredible homestay with a view to the taroko national park.”
+Gabriel the host is very welcoming and even made us an amazing breakfast! We loved the location, the view of the taroko national park and the relaxing vibes. The room was excellent, the bed was big and comfortable, everything was incredibly clean and the bath was relaxing. When we arrived they upgraded us to a bigger room which was very kind.

“Fantastic hospitality and generosity.”
+We absolutely loved the B&B staff, and Mr. Hong was the best host we could have asked for. He truly made our trip unforgettable, and my heart is so full of gratitude. The experience we had in Hualien is one we will cherish forever, and we are beyond thankful for Mr. Hong’s incredible hospitality, generosity, and the great stories he shared with us.
−We had to take the train from Jiufen to Hualien then a car to back track (not the B&B's fault) but more timing of the day. Finding a taxi from Hualien station was challenging.

“Super nice! ☺️”
+They were very kind to us, when we called they came very quickly and explained everything to us very well, they even recommended a restaurant for dinner. The payment is in cash. The room is super clean and has everything: he left us toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a shower cap, towels and tea bags. The room also has a kettle. The pillows and bed are very comfortable and the air conditioning works very well (this is important because it is very hot outside). The room is in a different area than the main house. The environment is very beautiful, you can see the mountain and you are very close to visit the Taroko national park.
−WiFi doesn't work in that room
