10.0“I loved the entire experience . I will definitely come again but will just not have a foot massage”
+Location was amazing , rooms were comfortable , spa facility was the best I’ve experienced regarding rooms and pools within the beautiful church building and the infinity pool with the amazing views was heaven . Perfect temperature too . The glow up facial by Jasmine was excellent and so relaxing . I felt truly pampered . Lovely pastries to start the day and a delicious Mediterranean salad for lunch with Prosecco. The locker facilities were perfect if you needed to nip back to change or collect something as there was a code lock rather than having to use a key .lovely towels , robes and flip flops for around the pool . Grounds were beautiful and a perfect place to have a walk after lunch and enjoy the sentry and wildlife . Beautiful deer greeted us the evening we had our overnight stay and peacocks walked freely around the building and sometimes into it . They are so tame . The entrance of the building was stunning and decorated with lovely seasonal pumpkins .
−Some of the windows could do with repainting on the main building and there were areas that needed tidying as there were ladders and objects and weeds around the exterior of the building which was a shame . The entrance hall was huge and welcoming but the carpets although in good condition appeared to be faded due to the choice of the pattern . I think a new design by an interior designer for the furnishings and carpet would make the entrance and hall ways appear more luxurious . The staircase would then be shown off in the manner it deserves . I do understand that a building this size is expensive to maintain so it is not a criticism but just a suggestion from a customer who loves the fact that a hotel like this is preserving a precious piece of history which might otherwise be lost . The spa was the best I have ever visited and the staff were all very welcoming but I just need to say that the lady with dark hair from the main reception desk who gave me the 15minutes extra foot and leg massage put too much pressure on my foot . I wasn't sure whether I should choose the foot massage . She recommended it . When she started the massage she was squeezing my legs far too hard and then

8.0“Fab spot great staff and madic views. Quality breakfast and defo visitng again. Upgraded our room to a magic room with a”
+The location is magic. Staff are great and the room was superb. The bed was wonderful and the view was a never ending landscape of colour and weather patterns for miles and miles. Spa outdoor spa pool was exceptional and a treat.
−i cut my heel on a door in the spa quite badly. It prevented me continuing in the spa. The door needs adjustment as it was sharp. The sauna needed to be over 50 as that was too cool and the same for the steam room.

2.0“Extremely Disappointing Stay”
+The grounds and drive way up to the property were great.
−We booked two rooms,a standard twin (171) and a deluxe double (274) from 25th-27th October. The condition of both rooms, and the hotel in general, fell far below acceptable standards. The deluxe double was in an appalling state. The carpet was wet, the sink was blocked, and the room was riddled with maintenance failures: a broken sofa, a bath lever that fell off, and a broken lampshade. Cleanliness was a major issue, with cobwebs everywhere, especially over the lamps. Most alarmingly, the door did not lock from the inside. The twin room was equally concerning and presented a serious fire hazard with a burnt plug in the socket under the TV. Like the first room, this door also failed to lock from the inside. Given recent news reports regarding security issues at budget hotel chains, I was shocked to find that guest safety was not a priority here. After complaining, we were moved to a "refurbished" suite, but the issues continued. The sleeping area had no window and was uncomfortably warm, the dressing table lighting was terrible, and the room was still dusty with cobwebs and marked carpets. The "additional room" looked like an overflow storage area for odd chairs. Functional items we

6.0“Nice short stay. Slight discomfort to sleep.”
+The hotel is a maze, keep looking for the room, there was no direction given by the staff to locate the room in the best way. or which lift to take for best access to the room. Car park in opposite side of the reception what a hassle to reach reception when it rains.
−Room was old and uncomfortable bedding. There is a humming sound of some machine running all night. Shower handle was too tight to turn the water On-Off.

4.0“not value for money”
+LOCATION GOOD. BUT...Tired rooms, very tired...poor choice of food in bar...broken lifts, confusing signage, uncomfortable beds, poor pillows and rooms a long way from reception.
