“A fantastic time was had, the food festival over the weekend was a surprise but in good way, the people of the town were”
+Fantastic views over the peninsula, ample car parking spaces, ensuite with a lovely hot shower. A comfortable seating area for all inside which we took advantage of one day when the the weather had closed in and wild. The gardens are gorgeous and although we stayed late in the season and so restricted perhaps on taking in the view at its best on a glorious day, you could well imagine resting on the benches within the large garden observing such wonderful views you get from this property. The hosts are amazing, great ‘craic’ over your fantastic choice of breakfast after which we were offered (and accepted) passenger journeys to the centre of the town. The hosts also gave us plenty of options of where to have a nice meal & drinks options too. Brilliant hosts.

+We LOVED our stay, the best B&B we’ve stayed at in Ireland! Kathleen and others were so amazing and Exceptionally kind. The view was unmatched and the location just outside of Dingle was very convenient. Breakfast was great. We loved Dingle so much and loved Short Strand as well.

+We had a very nice stay at Short Strand. We stayed one night at this B&B slightly out of town and got a good nights sleep. The next night we stayed in town and it was very noisy. Breakfast was great and the host was kind.

“Great host, great facility, great location, definitely definitely stay again!”
+We loved our stay here. The host was outstanding in her pre communications and check in process. The home is SPOTLESS and you can just tell that Kathleen cares and is on top of all the details, large and small. The breakfast was top notch and the service was outstanding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Everything lived up to or exceeded our expectation and match all of her great reviews. Also, location, location, location... is so perfect to city center and everything that this area offers. “Very disappointing stay, with a strong musty smell, poor shower facilities and a very basic breakfas”

−Unfortunately, our stay at Short Strand Dingle was very disappointing. The room had a strong musty, damp smell, with an unpleasant smell of mould and old furnishings. It was so strong that we had to sleep with the window open, despite the cold weather. The decor felt dated and lacking attention to detail. The shower was particularly bad: the water kept switching between hot and cold, most of the shower holes were blocked, and the remaining ones sprayed in different directions. Very little water came out, making it extremely difficult to shower. Even the shower rack for toiletries was rusty. Breakfast was very basic, and the omelette was completely tasteless. Overall, the room and facilities need significant improvement, especially considering how uncomfortable the stay was.
