“Will be booking again”
+The pub is Marstons brewery so they have no control over menu or drinks, this is a great shame as the local produce would offer excellent meals both healthy and not feel like the chain which it is. Food; we did have problems with a few dishes but we raised them at the time and it was rectified. Overall really nice, just a shame there was not a lot available as in off menu, and no healthy options. Service: the staff are lovely and friendly, a lot was going on internally and things were going wrong but all were very jolly about it and I can’t say it impacted negatively on our stay. It was slow at times, and this was frustrating as a lot of people were sat down discussing issues rather than serving but no wait was longer than 10mins or so. It wasn’t welcoming on arrival, a few of the younger staff clearly didn’t want to be there. A more mature lady server however was great to chat with, fun and professional. Drinks; it’s a real ale pub that had 1 real ale on draught, happily a nice ale but disappointing to not have choice. Cocktails excellent and good wine list. Room; nice coffee, clean, outstanding view and lovely to be able to open balcony doors and window. Dolphins can be seen from

+Staff Willow, Betsy & Kate, are brilliant and made our stay amazing! Willow even brought in an iron in from her home, as the iron at the Ship had gone missing. We’ve already booked to return later in the year. Highly recommended, other ship is in a great location, with a view that is priceless.
