“Terrible experience”
+The location is good and it is in the cheaper side but still too expensive for what you get
−When I arrived, the provided address was wrong. The guys from the restaurant next door told me that every day there are 2-3 people looking for the hotel. The hotel is supposed to be illegal/ not registered, that is why the owner put the wrong address. I asked the owner for the real address but he did not want to give it to me unless I accept some conditions he sent me via whatsapp. The real adress is: No. 93, Liemei St, Xitun District, about a 10min walk from the adress on google & booking.com. In the conditions you are asked not to talk to the neighbours because you might disturb them, when in reality the owner is scared that he will be exposed. You have to put the money into a letterbox and send a video of it, only then you will receive the code for your room. As I did not have the money exactly, I told him that I will put the remaining 100NT later. Later that day he threatened to call the police if I did not pay. I guess if he would do that, he had different problems. Negatives: - Very dirty - ants everywhere - clipped toenails lying around - No real towels, only single-use big paper sheets - bad sound isolation, you hear the street as if the windows would be open - mold everywh

“Pleasant”
+Good location and clean room/bathroom. If you need a bed it does its job.
−Sound insulation isn’t great, noise from corridor and outside is easily heard. Trouble sleeping if you are a light sleeper.

−It smelled like smoke. In the room it was everywhere. And checkin was difficult.

“Room was fine, other issues though”
+The room was perfectly fine.
−Many things. 1. No reception. 2. Rooms have no windows and it's not stated. 3. The entry information is only sent after you write to them 4. They just charge the room price to your card without you being present...so they could charge anything and by the time you realise you have moved on. I insisted on a receipt which was delivered. 5. Security is not good. I managed to gain entry twice without a key. I could have taken other people's bags. No-one was to be seen when i arrived.
