+It was a very pleasant stay at Sheru Guest. We received a warm welcome with beautiful flowers and a refreshing fruit drink made from fruits from the Sheru Guest garden. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I highly recommend Sheru Guest to anyone looking for a calm and quiet place to stay, whether for a short or long stay.

Tucked away in the peaceful village of Totamuna, Sheru Guest has officially become my absolute favorite getaway in Matara. What keeps drawing me back is the beautiful energy of the family who runs it. They have this effortless way of making you feel completely cared for, turning a simple stay into a heartwarming experience. The rooms are always immaculately clean and incredibly restful, offering a quiet escape that is still just a short hop away from great local spots to eat. If you're a new guest looking for a peaceful, authentic, and genuinely welcoming place to stay, do yourself a favor and book this hidden gem. I’m already dreaming of my fourth visit!

+This was my second stay at Sheru Guest, and once again it was an amazing experience. I received such a warm welcome, just like last time, with a beautiful bunch of flowers and a refreshing welcome drink from their own garden. The place is very clean, peaceful, and calm , perfect for relaxing. The hospitality of the hosts made me feel at home throughout my stay. Everything was well maintained, and the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend Sheru Guest to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay. I will definitely come back again!

+Extremely Pleasant Stay! I received a warm welcome with flowers, and the welcome drink made from the garden was fabulous. I stayed two nights at Sheru Guest in Matara, and it truly felt like home. The owner and their family were very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the place was calm and quiet , perfect for relaxing. The guesthouse has everything you need, including a kitchen and washing machine. It's also conveniently located near the Nilwala River and its mouth, and just a short distance to Polhena and Madiha beaches. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

“Feels Like Coming Home - My Second Visit to Sheru Guest”
+This was my second time staying at Sheru Guest, and once again, it truly felt like coming home. Nestled in the peaceful fishing village of Totamuna in Matara, Sheru Guest offers the perfect blend of comfort, culture, and community. I first stayed here some time ago and was so impressed by the experience that I knew I had to return , and I’m so glad I did. The guesthouse is run by a warm and welcoming Catholic family who treat you more like a friend than a guest. Their genuine hospitality and care make a lasting impression. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and ideal for a relaxing stay, and although they don’t provide meals, there are plenty of great local restaurants just a short walk or tuk-tuk ride away. One of the reasons I chose to return to Sheru Guest is because of the beautiful purpose behind it. A portion of what you pay goes toward helping underprivileged families in the village , supporting their education, medical needs, and daily essentials. It’s not just a stay; it’s an opportunity to be part of something meaningful.
