“A relaxing and peaceful stay in the Autumn time. We enjoyed the hot tub and being surrounded by the sounds of nature”
+The peace and quiet was wonderful. The only noise was the owls hooting and donkeys braying. The hot tub was lovely especially once the sun went down and the fairy lights made it feel magical. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We had day trips to clovelly, boscastle and lydford gorge.
−The shower was a little temperamental and the outdoor cushions need a wash or some kind of storage as they looked a bit grubby after the storms.

+The location was very nice and peaceful the hideaway was nicely decorated. very clean, it was also nice, warm and cozy.
−Only small critiques would be the first time we used the shower it was warm but after that it was cold. And when we were making food the oven worked at first but then couldn’t get it to light again.

“Superb”
+We really enjoyed our stay at the Shepherd’s Hideaway - it was exactly what we needed. The setting is peaceful and secluded, making it ideal for a relaxing break, yet it’s only a five-minute drive from a lovely nearby town. The hut is tastefully decorated and well equipped, with all the modern conveniences you’d expect. The small radiator was a welcome feature during our surprisingly chilly June stay, keeping the space cosy and comfortable. The hot tub was a definite highlight - we spent time just relaxing and listening to the birds, which was pure bliss. The bathrobes were a thoughtful touch. We also loved the cows and donkeys nearby - they made great neighbours - and our dog had a fantastic time exploring the enclosed garden.
−There were just a few minor issues that, if addressed, would make the experience even better: - As others have mentioned, the bathroom door is made of glass. Although it has a privacy film, it doesn’t offer full privacy, especially when the light is on, and it didn’t fully close, which was a bit awkward. - The indoor seating isn’t ideal - the small sofa only fits one person, and the stools were both uncomfortable and a bit wobbly. - The outdoor areas could benefit from a bit more cleaning - we understand some leaves are to be expected, but the porch around the outdoor shower needed a good sweep, and the outdoor sofa cushions could really use a wash. - A small shelf in the shower for toiletries would be really useful. - It would be great to have a few indoor games available. These are common in similar places, so we didn’t bring our own - though we really enjoyed the darts outside!

“Couples stay”
+Very secluded and peaceful. Gorgeous styling inside. Lovely hot shower and great outside space. Our dog also really enjoyed her stay, a lovely safe space.
−Would be easier if there was 2 wine glasses(I’m sure one was recently broken or lost), perhaps some oil for cooking.
