“An enjoyable break!”
+We liked the size of the room, food provided at the pub and the very helpful staff. We really enjoyed our four night stay.
−Nothing. There was a little bit of an art to get the shower just right but once mastered it was fine.

“Enjoyable and close to Brokencote Ha where we were guests for a wedding”
+We booked 4 rooms for 2 nights we were very happy with the facilities but we found the controls on our shower were difficult to get a shower that the hot water was extremely hot or freezing cold The towel rail was extremely hot in the bathroom and one of the guests burnt his lower back on the radiator when he bent over the sink to clean his teeth If it had been a child it would have been a burn on the face Our guest still has his burn mark 3 days later
−The pub could open at 11am so that guests could get a breakfast

“Cosy warm and comfy! Good location”
+Nice easy check in, comfy beds (although we have two singles, one was a 100% memory foam mattress and one a spring so was a big difference). Cosy and nice that there’s a fan in the room. Always warm! Smart TV there and shower is nice and powerful. Loads of parking and the pub does nice food. The duvet and sheets are cosy and warm.
−For staying two nights the room should have been replenished on day 2. You only get 2 tea bags, 4 powered milks which is enough for two hot drinks (at a push), as well as other drinks but we only drank tea. You also can’t drink the tap water so they should replace the bottles of water. Did ask for some and it was provided but the milk was given in a jug and was lumpy. Otherwise everything was nice wouldn’t put me off staying again but hope the feedback is taken on board. Some spiders in the bathroom could be hoovered up in the corners

−My room wasn’t ready even at 5pm, this isn’t acceptable without any communication at all. Because my room wasn’t ready I see the mattress without any sheets on. It needs replacing.

“Ok but room wasnt ready on arrival”

−I was shocked to arrive after a 3hr drive to find the room not ready at 7pm despite checkin being from 3pm. Then had to wait 30mins for the room to be ready but never informed by a staff member just had to walk up to room and hope it was ready. Then found 2 teaspoons hanging on door in a nappy bag.
