+Breakfasts were truly delicious, made from home-made quality products. You can tell the owners care about their quests. The buns and croissants were still warm, the orange juice freshly squeezed, and scrambled eggs made by the owner on the spot as soon as we got there to have our breakfast. The hotel area is just beautiful, spacious, green, peaceful and quiet. You can really find your peace here, unlike in the crowded and busy city hotels. Our kid enjoyed exploring the area and playing near the river. The owners have a couple of friendly dogs and cats, so that was an additional perk. Our stay was a wonderful experience!
−A small hiccup was that there was no fridge in the room. There is, however, one in the common area.

“Serenity and natural beauty in historic environment”
+Absolutely magical place! There's a garden with all sorts fruit and veg. There's an olive oil museum. There's a river, which becomes a stream in the summer. and if it wasn't enough.. There's a pool. There are animals. But most of all there are Carlos and Marisol who run this place. Very kind and accommodating, who fill the place with love and passion daily!
−We didn't have a car to explore the surrounding area, but there was plenty to do on the farm and the trails near the property.

“Dreamy property ideal for reconnecting with nature and unwinding.”
+The Sete Quintas property is an absolue must-visit for nature lovers. The location is idyllic and the property is very well maintained. Waking up to the murmur of the river and birds singing is priceless. Mr. Carlos is an excellent host who makes you feel at home and the breakfast he prepares is heavenly, since locally grown produce is used. We had a lovely stay and I highly recommend Sete Quintas.

“A beautiful place, warm welcome, great food and wine, we were totally spoiled and loved every minute”
+We have had a wonderful three week holiday in Portugal, staying in a variety of lovely places from the southern coast to the northern border. But of all those lovely places, Sete Quintas truly won our hearts. By rebuilding several abandoned stone buildings that had housed flour mills and an olive mill on property bordering a small river, adding gardens, olive and fruit trees, and a swimming pool, the owner, Carlos, has created a gem of peaceful tranquillity and natural beauty. We stayed in a small stone cottage - living room, bedroom, bathroom, very comfortable and all beautifully furnished and decorated - right beside the river, relaxing to the sound of the water. Delicious breakfasts were served in the lovely dining room in the main building just across the stone courtyard, where we also enjoyed delicious dinners, including excellent wine from a friend’s vineyard in the Douro Valley and olive oil made from Sete Quintas’s own olives. The owners made us feel so welcome and right at home; Carlos was very helpful with information about the area. This is a great location for exploring Coimbra and the ancient ruins at Conimbriga.

“Um verdadeiro conto de fadas”
+Foi uma experiência simplesmente espetacular, desde a simpatia e a atenção de todos até à localização, que é perfeita! O alojamento parece saído de um verdadeiro conto de fadas, cheio de encanto e magia. O pequeno-almoço foi maravilhoso, com imensa qualidade e cuidado em cada detalhe. Um agradecimento muito especial pela atenção e carinho com que receberam a minha filha, fazendo-nos sentir verdadeiramente especiais. Foi tudo perfeito e superou as nossas expectativas. Um lugar mágico, que recomendamos de coração e onde teremos todo o gosto em voltar.

“Einfach nur schön!”
+Wir waren von der Unterkunft begeistert; die Lage an dem kleinen Fluss, an dem man abends noch sitzen und den Geräuschen des Bachlaufs lauschen konnte, alles in Ruhe, entschleunigt. Carlos hat sich sehr bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Er gab uns sehr gute Tipps für unsere Tagesausflüge. Besonders hervorzuheben wäre das individuelle Frühstück, welches vorab besprochen wurde! Selbstgebackenes Brot, Kuchen, Marmeladen, frischen Früchte. Zutaten aus dem Garten oder regional. Ein derartiges Frühstücksangebot haben wir noch nicht erleben dürfen!
